Sixteen Families Have Holiday Wishes Come True Thanks to Kyla Lynn’s Kisses of Kindness

Kyla Lynn’s Kisses of Kindness was able to bring holiday joy to 16 families by gifting them every item on their holiday wish list. At a festive event, the families, who had been nominated by staff at Montefiore Medical Group, were overwhelmed with happiness and gratitude. The donations were from the Kyla Lynn’s Kisses of Kindness Adopt a Family for the Holidays Program, a program established in memory of Kyla Lynn McCarthy, niece of Maureen Scanlan, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, Senior Vice President and Chief Nurse Executive, Montefiore Einstein. More than 80 people from Kyla’s family and Montefiore Einstein formed an "angel brigade" in her memory to create an unforgettable and joyous experience.
