The conversation between Jamie and jon is very underated , Jamie takes offence when he sees jon blindly put his faith in the nights watch even before joining it which is similar to how he viewed the kingsguard . That's why he mocks him that in case you don't like you are stuck with it which is what happened to him , lol .
1:39 Eddard Stark isn't a king, but the Warden of the North. There's only one king, which is Robert Baratheon, that governs over the 7 kingdoms 2:13 Dried meat was very common on long adventure. 3:39 He didn't kill people. He sold to poachers. He sold slaves. 12:52 Fun fact: We have this show because, the Jon's mother mystery, is still going in the books. GRR Martin, when he met the two producers who must not be name, ask who's Jon's Snow's mother. The fact they were able to tell from what information there was at the time, made him agree to have his books adapted. 23:00 Love that you do theories after the show. We used to that between seasons. So after the end, we have tons of youtube videos that go around "this or that, according to the book or what this 4 words sentence means", for a whole year. So the hype for the next episode was insane. PS: Love the episode. If you get two episodes in two sitting at the same speed as one sitting of two episodes. Either or both. I watch it in parts anyway.
When Khaleesi asks "Isn't there anything else?" Jorah responds with "The Dothraki have two things in abundance, grass and horses. People can't live on grass." IE, she's not eating beef jerky, but rather dried horse meat."
you are really funny! Get the Patreon membership for 50$ per month and you can watch two reactions per month EARLIER.That´s the deal. :D The great question is: who is dumber-the reactors or the viewers?
Even after all these years, and having read the books before the show came out, that scene where Jon gives Arya her sword, and especially the hug goodbye still brings tears to my eyes. Just some advice for you guys: in this show and especially in the first 4 seasons, every line of dialogue is important on many many levels. The scene where Queen Cersei consoles Lady Catelyn by talking about the loss of her first-born son is an example. Yes she was being beguiling for the reasons you say - but the incident she spoke about will be revisited. Every scene is important and every word spoken is important all the time - and the payoff may be many seasons away.
I like the transition between Ned and Lady to Bran waking up. It's not mentioned in the show but when Ned hears news that Bran's direwolf stopped the assassin killing Bran, Ned feels dread that he'd killed Lady and that Sansa would be without her.
Small point, you guys are the first reactors that I've seen who were able to catch onto why Cat was able to figure out what happened from one strand of hair. Blond hair on the North is pretty much unheard of. Most reactors usually scoff at how she was able to piece together what happened from such a small clue.
I love it when new reactors come to GoT. Looking forward to you getting into it! A word. Please don't let people influence you to do more than you are comfortably doing. They will also try to tell you how to think about characters and begin to tell you things that you should figure out for yourselves. Even if you miss something, it will come up later but people want to tell you before you can do that. From there, many times, they will go too far, and walk right up to the line of spoiling. A moderator would help with this problem. Or simply, don't read the comments. Can't wait for episode 3. See you then!
Thank you! The most annoying part of dealing with reaction comments are people who "toe the line" of spoiling (even though it is still spoiling) and go out of their way to force the reactors to respond the same way they did. They hint at future events or force their opinion about a character onto the reactors. To Vince and Shoshana, don't bother trying to appease anyone in the comments about who to like, what to think, and how you feel about what happens in the story. This is YOUR reaction. They already got their experience.
Hello, and thanks for reacting to this show. Really enjoying how this show is unfolding for both of you. If you can do two a week, that would be great.✌
Fun fact; the hair thing with the Dothraki is actually implemented from real history. Once upon a time, it was normal for men to have long hair and braid it for war, and a few different cultures used it as a symbol. It's only been in recent history that having short cropped hair is what's considered to be a "man", mostly because of the corporate world demanding "clean cut" as standard.
11:52 Robb Stark tells Jon Snow: "the next time I see you, you;'ll be all in black!" After Game of Thrones, these two actors co-starred in Marvel's 'Eternals' where Richard Madden (Robb Stark) plays Ikaris, and Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) plays Dane Whitman, aka The Black Knight! Posting one episode at a time is just right! Enjoying your expressions as you watch the show! Fun!
The fact that someone came into his room and tried to kill him is a red flag his fall was not an accident, but I don't know if they know he was pushed. And 2 episodes per sitting would be great! Great reaction by the way.
I personally like one episode at a time with a lot of post episode analysis of where you think the plots are heading. I also understand at that pace you will be doing this for a long time, so I can live with 2 episodes at a time if I must.
• You have better get use to these sudden endings or cliff hangers because they will be common. • As to choice of the number of episodes to broadcast per showing, well, that's up to you. I imagine editing consumes a lot of time. Whatever you decide upon do as one commentator already said, establish a regular routine. • Suggest you keep your outros short to comment on the OMG moments. As you edit, take notes and use them in an extended intro leading into the next episode. -Virginia Beach, Virginia
As for us viewers we will watch them just as quick as you put them out. You guys worry about you need to on your end and if you have time to make more vid's per week then we are all the happier. I have a lot more questions but mostly just excited about what is to come.
Hope your ready ! 😃 Jus try and remember as much info and as many characters as u can. It all comes back around full circle . The good and the real bad!
"The Dothraki have two things in abundance - grass and horses. And people can't live on grass." "What is that?" "It's beef jerky!" Adorable! Great empathetic reactions from you, glad I subscribed. Two at a time would be okay so long as we don't lose the time on each episode! As to becoming desensitised, well, the unnecessary death of Lady is the one part of GOT that I can't watch, even on a reaction! I still have some sensitivity left.
This show is so brutal, it is very well done(Except the last season but you will make your mind by yourselves, still worth watching, I love your reaction, you got yourselves another subscriber

There's sooooo much backstory with this series (Like thousands of years), I'd highly recommend watching a lore video after the first season to really dive in. Get ready it's a roller coaster but so worth it.

Hey guys! Great reaction! I like the idea of reacting to 2 episodes at a time, maybe 2x/week. It will be August soon when the GOT sequel, House of the Dragon, premieres (8/21) and you’ll want to be caught up by then. Aside from GOT, do also plan to react to The Moon Knight (or any MCU movies/shows for that matter)?

oh my god! I just started GOT yesterday and I've finished season 1, which is the reason why I'm enjoying this reaction video so much! I really hate the Lannisters too, they're just too much and honestly speaking, I can't wait for the day that the 'queen' finally dies or murdered, whatever it is😤😤🤣🤣We have 8 seasons, hopefully I'll remember all the details hahahah
Great comment about being desensitized! By the end of this show you'll be completely empty inside. Nothing and nobody is safe in this show, women, children, animals, babies, kings, queens, citizens, etc.... all on the chopping block..... almost weekly (or at least it was almost weekly when this show was on HBO). As others have said..... it is good advice to familiarize yourself with the "Houses" (Starks, Mormonts, Freys, Lannisters, Targaryans, etc.), and with the general geography of the realm so you have an idea where people/characters are when they speak about the Wall, Winterfell, Dragonstone, rhe Iron Islands, etc. It will help give the experience a more real feeling if you can equate where people are geographically and where they are traveling to/from, especially considering they travel on foot, by horse, by boat, and by caravan (mostly). It makes sense looking back on the first episode when Cersei.saus they had been on the road for a month to reach Winterfell from King's Landing. I'm not sure the actual distance in the books, but it is likely about 1000 miles or so. A helpful tip might be to go to Google images and pull up just a map of the 7 Kingdoms of Westeros..... just to reference. I'm very hesitant to suggest that because it could accidentally leaf to spoilers, but quite frankly, Martin patterned very much of his storytelling after Tolkien, even his depiction of how the maps in his world are drawn, so it is worth looking up a spoiler free version of the lands and maps of Westeros fro. Game of Thrones because it is a very big world, with lots of characters, traveling lots of places, with very few in the same place at the se time. I'm just saying it may help you as a reference during certain upcoming episodes and seasons. Glad I found this channel. Great stuff!
Yes, Jon is Ned's bastard son... he's the baby that Ned brought back when returned from war last time. That's why Ned's wife (Lady Stark) has such animosity towards him. Every time she sees Jon, it reminds her that Ned broke his vows and cheated with another woman. You'd think after all these years and raising him alongside the other Stark kids she'd be less hostile, but apparently not.
Bran is not the King's son, he is Ned and Cat's son. Robb isn't Jon's Uncle, they are Half-brothers. Jorah sold the poachers to slave traders, that why Ned was going to take his head.
I always hated Caitlyn because in the books when Jon went to say goodbye the Bran she said she wished it was him. The show had to change that, or everyone would hate her.
Jamie the twin brother was trying to warn jon ahead of time about his post at the nights watch.i try not to judge these characters too quickly.often your only getting the view from another character or family.
Cersei Lannister, the queen, is a snake. But she actually didn’t want bran to be pushed out of the window. In the books, she told Jaime Lannister, her brother (the one she was having sex with) that she would rather have just threatened him or something. So that scene where she’s talking about her first born child who died of fever to Catelyn Stark, the mother of the kid who got pushed out of the window, it’s probably true. Yeah she’s also just playing nice too, you’ll come to realize she’s crazy ash.
@@baronhomer1 crazy in the sense that she wants complete control over the realm, embodying a lioness. Maybe not crazy, but definitely power driven, which many of the characters in the show are like that. And definitely an awesome character.
Pushing bran out the window was the lannisters way of trying to avoid a war.poorly done but backs against the wall.one thing you got to understand is the lannisters married into the royal family.so killing joffrey as you said aryan should do would have been the death of house stark.thats the prince.
Definitely have someone edit the comments before you read them. There's shits out there who like to spoil. Or don't read them at all. You'll catch on real quick and get to form your own opinions. A view of the history and lore vid will help lay out the back story.
Just be extremely careful with your comment section. People WILL pop in just to spoil everything with this show. I recommend avoiding it entirely or getting a mod to weed that stuff out.
hmmmm....you love Tyrion and hate the Lannisters...find the fault. You´ve got 74 episodes to learn and then you can judge.NOTHING is as it seems.Like in real life....
The conversation between Jamie and jon is very underated , Jamie takes offence when he sees jon blindly put his faith in the nights watch even before joining it which is similar to how he viewed the kingsguard . That's why he mocks him that in case you don't like you are stuck with it which is what happened to him , lol .
The early seasons were really good at building on the books with extra dialogue. This scene, for example.
@@notjerod5076 It 's true , the writers were able to add scenes that only developed the characters
1:39 Eddard Stark isn't a king, but the Warden of the North. There's only one king, which is Robert Baratheon, that governs over the 7 kingdoms
2:13 Dried meat was very common on long adventure.
3:39 He didn't kill people. He sold to poachers. He sold slaves.

Not exactly sure what you said there at the end but just put out as many episodes as possible. lol
Get her a dog she’ll be happier for it
Most g.o.t. reactor audiences want you to post at least three episodes per week & absolutely love several uploads per week.
Nice! Definitely watch out for spoilers in comments going forward.
So as a small heads up, the characters are VERY complex. There are almost no hard set good guy/bad guy in this show. They are very much blended. There are good guys you will hate and bad guys you will love.
It's better 1 episode but uploaded more often/quickly.
This is a tough one.. your shocked, sad faces at the end though. Welcome new GOT fans. Desensitized is a great description.

team Lannister all the way. Only the one true King of Westeros Stannis Baratheon has my vote over the mighty Tywin Lannister
Keep watching
There’s a reason why Ned hasn’t told Jon about his mother at that moment.
Really enjoying your reactions. It is by far the best show I have ever seen on every level. Hands down. I would love to see more reactions from y'all, either back to back or multiple time a week. Enjoy✌👍😉
If you keep to 25 minutes or so per episode than 2 at a time is good. But if doing 2 episodes means each one is shorter than 1 at a time is great

Here for GoT lets go!
I see alot of people already trying to spoil stuff rather than let you experience and learn for yourself.. Proceed with caution.

@@baronhomer1 crazy in the sense that she wants complete control over the realm, embodying a lioness. Maybe not crazy, but definitely power driven, which many of the characters in the show are like that. And definitely an awesome character.
Unfortunately, Arya can't kill Joffery(even though he's a little prick). The king would have Arya killed for doing that.
The lannisters are by far the best house.the best actors play them and they are by far the most interesting...well besides joffrey.he sucks.
Pushing bran out the window was the lannisters way of trying to avoid a war.poorly done but backs against the wall.one thing you got to understand is the lannisters married into the royal family.so killing joffrey as you said aryan should do would have been the death of house stark.thats the prince.
I'm for two episodes at once.
If Cersei didnt push him out the window, they would be found out and their children would be killed.
Its a tough situation. I believe she was sincere.
Definitely have someone edit the comments before you read them. There's shits out there who like to spoil. Or don't read them at all. You'll catch on
real quick and get to form your own opinions. A view of the history and lore vid will help lay out the back story.
Bring it back
No no no, not 2 episodes. Do 1 at a time please.
how can you hate on #teamlannister !?!
2 episode
Just be extremely careful with your comment section. People WILL pop in just to spoil everything with this show. I recommend avoiding it entirely or getting a mod to weed that stuff out.
2 ep go a Lil quicker
come on dont hate me
hmmmm....you love Tyrion and hate the Lannisters...find the fault.
You´ve got 74 episodes to learn and then you can judge.NOTHING is as it seems.Like in real life....
Fake reaction
Little piece of advice: stop watching at season 7
