This song was such a bop back then, and it still is today.
Swing was popularized in the 1930s. Electro swing is something that started appearing more in the new 10s.
All for a guy in 2014 to make an animation with this song about Animal Crossing cats dancing, in 2020 RUclips decides to start recomending it to the right people, finally bringing us here.

I've always been into the roaring 20s vibe, so two things that really get me in a good mood are art deco and swing. This put a great new spin on swing, and I love it.
I remember playing this song when I was entering the new year, at the drop at 0:45. Don’t remember what year it was (I think it was 2019) and I was like a second or two off, not hitting the timing right, which disappoints me till this day but also Im glad I played for entering the year. Maybe I’ll do it again for New Years 2022 :)
