Isn’t storing them in the box a bad idea as it isn’t breathable? I’ve seen many cases of weird things happening to the leather even molding from in box storage over long periods of time.

plastic is the worst thing for storage ,
it releases chem's & attracts mold ..

the plastic bubble wrap attracts humidity ....

Storing in dust bags always makes them wear off sooner..
It's gonna reck ur bag if v keep in closed space .
