Scuba Diving Shaab Hamam

Shaab Hamam reef is located in Egypt's Fury Shoals. Known for a valley of immense hard coral "steps" and a quasi-arch, this section of reef is experiencing some coral bleaching. During this particular dive, high winds and rough surface waves contributed to significant "marine snow": suspended particles swept from the reef surface and redeposited along the leeward flanks.
