This game was awesome, I must've beaten 5 or 6 times as a kid, and I'll never forget the fear of playing through the first time and the T-Rex came busting through the window. LOL I miss the old CAPCOM.

Seeing those old graphics of the characters makes me feel so nostalgic! I miss the first Resident Evil games and Dino Crisis. They were my two favorite game franchises; even though my dad was the one who played it most of the time while I just watched, since I was too scared to play them myself! xD
they should make a new co-op dino crisis. lets say you have a 2-3 characters on a different map (and/or on the same map) to perform different functions. engineer does his thing, soldier does his thing, medic does her thing. the only way to communicate is to use your walkie talkie (or skype) or walk up to a certain location to help them open doors, and stuff. random puzzles will be placed for each mission. and if you complete a mission, you advance in story line. and if players leave, they are replaced by ai or something.
***** i was just suggesting because i know dino crisis is dead and capcom isn't going to pay the shinji to revive it. shinji has enough going on with resident evil. i really doubt the co-op would kill the atmosphere. since you can't really see your friend's character. plus you can be playing with someone you don't know on the internet. and in order to talk you need hold up your 'weapon' slot (your walkie talkie is equipped) or something because you can't just hit tilde (on a pc) to talk to your friend with microphone! it is not convenient to talk as it will waste time and the dinosaurs will hear you! but sometimes you need to tell him the codes to unlock doors and passwords and so on. the codes are randomized so they are different every time. in dinocrisis you can't jump not even in dinocrisis 2. lol at jumping friends...you really played a lot of bad co-op games online....that is why you think all co-op games would be bad. of course the game should also have an option for single player for people like you (ai replacing the human spot)... of course ai will know exactly where you are and what to do and so on so it doesn't need to call you to find out where you are or what you need him to do.
one of the best ever games for PSX/1... The sequels were casual shoot em ups. This was a the definitive version of the series. A simple concept done quite well that left you terrified but gripped... I wish they would revamp the series. Give it a fresh looks, updated graphics etc. and re-release a game that defined my early gaming

The recording was just fine a few months ago, but I noticed recently some changes Google made RUclips have cause issues with a lot of videos... have several on my own channel that people were complaining the video was totally broken, only to find out the HD versions just showed green screens while SD resolutions were fine (albeit poor quality) Wish Google would stop screwing with everything on RUclips, ever since they took over there has been increasing numbers of problems.
Played this on copy in black and white and with Japanese subs haha. Still completed it but was hard doing the puzzles with the matching colours! Eventually bought the proper retail version. Truly awesome game. Great game for puzzles too!
In Dino Crisis, you had to save ammo. It was important not to shoot all enemies. You have to get past them. That's the only way to survive in Dino Crisis.

i had to lol at the facts that somehow the door that the spielbergosaurus broke down was suddenly back up in the next scene with no explanation and that said dinosaur could open and close doors and slam them without needing to fiddle with the handle jurassic park-style
Dino Crisis was truly terrifying.. The original more or less. I got it for my 6th birthday gift back in 2000. I never finished it since it was so scary. Later that same year my dad bought me the Dino Crisis 2 and I was even more excited. There was more to do. However I got nightmares after I played the sunken 3rd Energy Facility stage as Regina. I really wish there would be remaster of the first two games aswell! 😎
Definitely one of my favorites growing up; at one point I memorized all of the codes and combinations for all the puzzles. And I always was dazzled by that big booty-cant wait to see it in RTX for a remake on PC
My all time favorite Dinosaur game besides Turok, this game was scary and badass loved it part 2 was even better, CAPCOM has been struggling lately RE6 was good but not great and there makeing another scary game that's coming out soon, I believe CAPCOM needs to Remake Dino Crisis 1, 2 and most certainly 3 hell make a series like they been doing for resident evil...I just miss this game and hope in the future they remake this for both Ps4 and Xbox one...
This is one replay I can stop watching. I loved the game when it came out and saw that it was like resident evil, but was fully 3D rendered environments. I loved how the camera made things creepy as you walked down hallways and the air ducts. I considered buying a PS3 just to replay it on PSN. I think it would be an awesome remake as well.

I thought, the variations were the reason for the 4 hour walkthorugh (i mean, you can complete DC without missing any content in about 2-2.30). Still, love the game, recently replayed it on PC where it surprisingly worked like charm. Also, there do seem to be some odd problems with either the recorded video or it's youtube screwing up.
Is it just me, or is the video corrupt at several points? Like at 1:31:31 for instance? If so, will there be a new Longplay of it? Would really like to watch the entire thing! :) Other than that, great job on the lonplays in general! :)
