  • Kimber's Men are shanty legends. John, Neil, Gareth, and Steve joined us from Gareth's kitchen in West Yorkshire to sing a few songs and have more than a few laughs. We talk about how they got their start, some of their biggest highlights and fondest memories, and the joys of singing together. After 20 years, 4 albums, and hundreds of concerts there's not much they haven't seen or sung!

Thanks for watching! Just checked out your channel and it's really cool - loved that interview with Susan Gebbels, the Blythe Tall Ship Captain.

@@pressgangmutiny9639 Ah, that's very kind of you, thank you very much. Yes Susan and the skippers were really friendly and accommodated us at short notice. We have a lot of respect for them. I also know Neil in a roundabout way too - through another member of his family. Lovely chap.

Us too! We're going to have much more singing in future episodes. After episode 20, we are going to move to shorter, more musical episodes based around themes, with the occasional longer, discussion-based special episode.
