Not a fan of Scooby-Doo, but seeing as it's Halloween time, and I love this gag in movies/TV, I wanted to make my own version of this for fun.

Everyone attributes this gag to Scooby-Doo, but Tex Avery actually did it in a Screwball Squirrel cartoon years prior.

It dates even further with the Three Stooges, but Scooby-Doo perfected the gag (or rather used it the most) so that's why people associate it with him rather than the shows older than it do.
