Given this is building off of the spider verse movies the tone really does fit.
When I looked for the trailer, I was disappointed that it was in color, not realizing there was a black-and-white version. It's Spider-Noir! Why is color even an option?!

Rorschach! I thought of him too! I remember wondering how on earth they were crossing over when I first saw images of this back when Cage first was tied to the character. Glad you see it, too.

the marketing for this show looks amazing already. having a black and white trailer but also a color trailer is so freaking cool. as a film nerd this is the stuff I love
I love that they released both trailers, the black and white is far superior. This surprisingly looks like a return to form for Nic Cage and I cannot wait!

Let's not put down the color version too much, it actually looks surprisingly good for a series I presume was meant to be black and white from the start. But, yeah, I'm watching in black and white.
We got Flint Marko, Cat Hardy, Robbie Robertson, Ben Reilly being neurotic which is pretty much Nic Cage lol, tease of Silvermane I presume in some of the montage shots. It would be crazy if Andy Samberg portrayed young Ben Reilly since he does a spot on Nic Cage impression and we saw that in the Spiderverse and in SNL.
We’ll also have Molten Man and Electro too. I’d also hope Mr Negative and Joe Fixit show up too. Some MCU cameos(MCU actors can play “Noir” versions of their characters) also wouldn’t hurt

Early access
A lot of ver popular creators get early access to a lot of movies/tv shows/trailers for both. Which is nice to be able to see explainer/review content so quickly but it hurts small creators attempting to make their own content.

About keeping the hat on his head: That thing Spiderman can do with his hands and feet to climb walls, he can do that all over his body. In one incarnation at least, it can even keep his mask on his face when he's unconscious. Apparently in another incarnation, he used the same power to rip people's faces off, but that was with his hands, so less relevant to my comment. I think I even heard that he could use that to keep people stuck to his back when he's web slinging.

I had no idea that this was a thing until I saw the trailer. Now I'm really excited. Spider Noir was my favorite Spiderman in Spider verse. If this turns out good and then he comes back for the 3rd animated movie would be amazing!
