CDC guidelines update, April 2019
For people 19 to 64 years of age:
Group #1: Give also:
1xPCV13 at/after 65 years of age
1x PPSV23 1 year after the PCV13 and 5 yrs after the last PPSV23;
Group #2: Give also:
1xPPSV23 at/after 65 years of age, and at least 5 years after the last PPSV23;
Group #3: In the naive group give also:
1xPPSV23 5 years after the last PPSV23
1 final PPSV23 at/after 65 gears of age;

I was given Pneumovax 23 solution Injection 0.5ml and I am Pneumococcal vaccine navie.
I was not given 13 vaccine is this right? I am 43 with chronic liver disease.

Which one do you recommend to take to have better protection against pneumococcal? And how many ejections? Many thanks
