Yeah except Red Guy does the same thing a little later. When Warren the -worm- eagle impersonates him, Red says 'is that supposed to be me?' after it unpauses
i know this has nothing to do with the video but i literally love yellow guy so much. not in a baby way, but i feel like he would be an amazing friend, he's so sweet
I think his traumatization is a key element to this, all the horrifying events His art was ruined and his favourite colour wasn't "creative" He aged too quickly He was used to be indoctrinated into a cult HE ATE HIS OWN FRIEND etc.
@@AschesHome That age came out of a chapter that is no longer canon since the creators did not like it one bit, also the creators do not like to put limits on the creativity of the fans so Yellow guy can be any age (And in that same chapter Yellow guy turned like 48, so his age was not taken seriously)
Honestly, I can resonate with Red a lil more from his monotone voice and how he is very blunt and logic based with everything he says and does. He can say the most harsh shit but in such a truthful way, like during the scene when everyone was bullying Warren, he was the most blunt. Specifically with his "You're just unlikeable in a way that's hard to explain" thing. Love these dumbasses.
As an autistic guy myself I'm often relating to the yellow guy when he's in his smart mode but often felling acting like the yellow guy when ever he falls or makes Lil noises
Does anyone else feel like yellow guy is the main character of the show? let me explain. So in the original show yellow guy was the only one to survive all six episodes. But the story was really Red guys story, he works a creative-less office job where no one likes him and he's basically an outcast, then when he actually tries to do his idea he gets booed at by everyone except for Roy. But in this show Red guy still is important like duck, but I think that Yellow guy has taken the spotlight, he's the only one who met Lesley in his world, he might be the son of Lesley who got hit by a car, he is the one who gets kidnapped by the twins, he's the one who got his hand cut off, he's the one who basically gets ignored by everyone in this show/ is insulted by everyone in the show. That's what I think though.
The window clip at 1:25 hints that the smart version of himself who “knows the reality” is always there in his reflection so maybe there’s still a chance he can return, or in this case, change into his normal/smart self without needing to change his batteries
I just realized in the last scene of this compilation, he basically just describes the smarter versions of red guy and duck, and at the very top Lesley has a tiny version of the house and them
@@raptorr575 well I'm basing off the web series, the first episode and other things. He is usually the first to try to leave when something goes wrong or is out the norm.
When he said, "when you can't remember over the top of you there's bigger ones that are bigger, and bigger, and then over the top of it there's a smaller one with all of it, at the top of it" it actually made a lot of sense. He went up and there were the big boys, as he says above there are bigger ones, and he went up again to the bigger boys room, he also said and bigger, and at the top was Leslie who was smaller and she had all of them in the miniature doll house with smaller thems inside of it. Edit: IDC IF people have already said that I was just stating it in the comments, don't be a smart ass
Red guy was the one who had a realization on RUclips Yellow guy had a realization here there's a video game coming. Wonder if duck guy will get something now?
Rateyes (yellow guy lol) being extra aware was not expected to me. I used to love Red's awareness and eventual attempts at escape but it's been years since i've joined the fandom so watching the new show I was surprised. I think every one of the main 3 had their moments of extra awareness. Roy in the new series was the most surprising to me. In the OG, Roy himself was this hidden character that held so much mystery and meta power, in this version Roy simply showed up like girlboss moment to eat a family than cosplay a homeless man with no other explanations. The more I process this show the more it feels off. The show presents moments of the main 3 being aware of the meta whereas other times it gives off the vibe to not take things too seriously. I can't quite explain it other than what exactly is the show trying to tell us?
Well in later episodes of the show we see that Yellow guy can see the other "version" of himself (low battery or fully charged) in reflections, so it seems like he's checking the mirror to see if the fully charged version of himself is there
I love how he talks in the beginning of episode 6. They knew he'd be smart for most of the episode so it's like they wanted to make him dumber than usual. It makes sense too, since his batteries were dying. He's honestly so cute and charming.

Huh, I didn't think about it at the time, but that does match up with the town Yellow imagines in episode 5, and that is Lesley narrating that part. I'm kind of reluctant to actually make theories because it seems like the sort of series that would only hint at things but not have a true answer to keep its mystique, but I could see a viable theory being that Lesley's real son got hit by a car and died and Yellow's town fantasy reflecting that event, with Yellow being a puppet son Lesley created out of grief, and sometimes she has flashes of reality remembering Yellow isn't her real son and then goes back to saying he is. This also reminded me of episode 4's rewind sequence where Red was briefly out of costume. That seems like more of a gag to me, but I imagine it could also be theorized from.
