Ok I am freezing in the midwest and its damn cold but its only -65 because of the wind chill. It was -13 when I got up and its -20 in Chicago. But it only gets to -65 if the wind is blowing. But trust me -13 is bad enough.
Very nice Mark I'm talking about you jammen, the guitar is gorgeous I like that grin after hitting that harmonic, yea it was awesome sounded cool I have been watching you daily now for a few weeks I enjoy the presentation on the classics I always want to hear someone play them too. Norm has made a great choice with you. I'm in San Diego now ane I would really like to make the trip up there at some point and check out the guitars. Thanks for the experience and the opportunity to learn the differences on make and model on vintage guitars, I'm rethinking some things due to that. Thanks Peace.... 😎
I live in Chicagoland, drove to work today, -14 F for most of my trip. That doesn't factor in the Wind Chill. The sad/funny thing is, the forecast for Sunday is 44 F and rain. Welcome to Chicago.
I'm on the other side of Lake Michigan. And it's a wicked -8 degrees. Cars don't want to start to easily in this cold. 65 degrees just don't seem real right now.
So episode 701 aired on the eve of my 71st birthday. And in June of 1966 as a high school graduation present to myself, I traded my 64 SG jr in for a 66 ES330 TD. Supidly, in 1982, I got rid of it. Damn. But I love seeing you feature them along with their Casino cousins.
very nice , luv the P90's , especially on these hollow or semi- body guitars , need to be ridin a bit harder than this tho. Great demo on the bigsby. Nice curves on that top , spruce ? maple ? And I like that burst , more black and brown than red and yellow . very cool.
For some reason I have spent decades thinking that Wicked Game song was Brian Ferry. Duh. Learn something every day huh. P.S. Tone for that song is about the best I have heard from Mark in these videos. The guitar was letting him play what he was shooting for, if that makes sense. As usual, I hope it goes to a player that will make music with it.
Just a thought, you can't spell witch (as in ladies who wear conical hats and get around on broomsticks) with an H. Recently there was a bit of a debate on the NRG site about string swish. Hearing Mark play 'Last Time' reminded me of another well-known example of this.
Bit cold here in the south of the UK too. Might even be some frost on the ground - I’ll go check ... Yep, frost. Better get a scarf and hat. Prefer the look of the short neck 330, mind.
Wow Beautiful ES!! My names Jordan Gipe and I was wondering, my birthday is February 1st and could you maybe do a Beatles guitar?! I hope I’m not asking for much, Thank You!!
(Maybe a dumb) question about the Bigsby- if the guitar is hollow, what does it attach to? Just curious. Great playing as usual Mark ! Jen as always, ace production :) thanks guys...
Chris Pineda The back end of the Bigsby has a hinge that attatches to the rim of the guitar at the strap pin. The forward end has screws that go into the guitar top.
Come together - Beatles
Wicked Game - Chris Isaak
Last time - Stones
Mark you're truly blessed to be in 65 degree temperatures ! I'm fawking freezin' !!!
Finally! One of the "long neck" 330s. Cool.

Ace of Lame And he plays Good Vibrations every time he has a fender bass.
Either Walk-Don’t Run or Pipeline for every surf guitar
Wow, I like the sound of this much more than the SG from yesterday.
I can dig it.
It’s really cold here in Pennsylvania. But I think a Höfner guitar would really warm my heart
A fine sounding guitar👍🏻👍🏻🎸🎸

great guitar, I'm in love. I think I need just one more. and og course. great playing.
Hell yeah, Chris Isaak. But it's that neck sound that's perfection.
I learned something! Looks like a super clean 330 to say it's over 50 years old!

Great playing!

4/5 stars. My only complaint is no Doyle coils
During the summer it was 117 degrees there. Who can live with that heat?
