Roosting the competition & Crazy Passing Action at 2023 GNCC Ironman Rd. 12 Rear Fender Camera.

This is the biggest row our Master A (50-54) class has had this year. And there were more passes in this race than any other. But in the group of us running back and forth from 6 through 10th place the times were so close that nobody was getting away. And with any little mistake you were losing 1-2 positions at a time. After running as high as 6th and going back and forth, I ended up 11th of 20. I got two of my three crashes on camera (better seen on my front view video). My last getoff was on the third lap when a guy in front of me crashed over a whoop hill in the woods and I went down avoiding him. That send me and my bike into a gully in the woods which took me too much time to get out.

haha Thanks David. I just watched them on two different screens at the same time. The rear is about 15 seconds ahead.

What is your setup? Standard mount on the rear fender so if you lose your fender the GoPro is gone?

The rear is mounted to a metal base that's bolted to the fender. Yes, if I were to lose the fender the camera would stay with it. Hopefully I would retrieve both. lol
