Thank you so much Jane. I was doing exactly this yesterday! No more….. starting.again. Free loose plenty of texture. Bye from the Aussie who loves your work.
Every time you upload one of these "30 minute" videos I find myself hoping it will in fact be 30 minutes long because I know I would enjoy every minute. Pretty sure I'm not alone on this 😉. LOVE this one, thanks.
Dear Jane, I love this video soooo much. I enjoy every minute of this video and how you explained your painterly process. But also i would like to see whole video in real time and not so quick. Because i love to see how you paint. You are the unique artist in the whole world to show how to collage in this pleasure matter. Love this video and thanks
Hello Jane. I am a new subscriber. I loved watching this video, and agree, lets see the whole 30 minutes. I wouldn't get bored, and would welcome watching the whole process. While watching this, I found myself shouting 'No, don't cover the red up!' Then a few minutes later 'yes, sure, that works!. Thank you for this.
Your pieces are very nice, cheerful and playful yet sophisticated. Do people buy them? I’m enjoying learning to paint abstract after a lifetime of representational watercolors; I think it’s a hobby for most painters, rather than a gainful occupation, and I’m discovering that it’s an expensive one. Also that it requires a lot of space. Anyhow thanks for your excellent, inspiring videos.
When you create a work like this, how do you frame it? Or how do you display it if it is indeed a keeper? I love your work, love listening to you and your process.
i am lmao bc i do they crazy mediration like an answer will come ! you are so wonderful glad you said that im gonna surely do this and stop over thinking
The "thing" is: There are "people" in California doing three jobs, and are just making ends meet, while there is an "artist" doing some grand works, building a future name!
What would a "toddler mind" - Caryn Mae Banate would say over your "paintings", if she even calls me "nutz"!!! I guess, she could open thousands of coconuts in her father's land in Mainit, and still wouldn't fathom it! rolfmao
Jane, I adore your fearless freedom artistic style. I really miss your in person classes in Traverse City, Michigan.
So mesmerized watching you work! Love your instruction. Thank you

I have always struggled with collage. I like this method of adding it to a work as blocks of colors or lines. Thank you for sharing your process.
Love your videos and your free flowing logic
I’ve always been afraid to use red. Not sure why 🤷🏼♀️. You always make it look so easy. Thanks for sharing. You are Fearless!
I love the way you work, thank you!
what are you using for the glue please Jane?
Agree! It always feels too short!! :)
Surprised to see her using such bright primary colors. Big change from the soft pastels

Are you painting on canvas?
Thank you for voicing the woman in your head and then overruling her!
Beautiful!!
can I ask Jane, do you gesso your paper first?
Terrific
