    Great job, guys. I really enjoyed all of it and the oscilloscope misfire detection strategies using the pulse sensor and escope software with the CKP and ignition reference were very cool to see!

    Thanks for this tutorial.
    Can i ask for some questions?
    1. Can the battery be installed when all the fuses are removed?
    2. Will the computer control system be disturbed if all the fuses are removed, while the battery is still connected?
    Thank you sir. I really need your explaination.

    Would the trick with the spark plug wire clamp be putting a penny in it and putting it on the coil?

      Brad,
      Not sure what your referring to...is it something we stated in the video? I teach so many that I cannot always remember what was said in the webinar...let me know the time or if you offering a suggestion...thanks for watching...If you have not already subscribed to our tstseminars RUclips channel please do so. @@TSTseminars yeah it was something you said in the video. You said something about remind us to tell you about a trick you can do the secondary ignition clamp. I had seen in a different video from someone else saying you could put a penny in the wire clamp and use it like a cop probe I've never done it are seen it done except on that video and I thought maybe that's what you were talking about too. Thanks for the response.

      @@whodatbml the penny may work...I was referring to aluminum foil and make it to fit the clamp and go over the coil without touching ground.

    Question I'm new to scoping, autel 919, I am the only one in the shop using it. I tried doing secondary ignition. I have 20:1 attenuator and it wasn't producing a picture. I also have a COP adaptor. I used that with the attenuator, wasn't pretty but I saw the coil failed. Any suggestions on how I can improve. Thanks!

    • @TSTseminars
      @TSTseminars  2 года назад

      following the directions...maybe the 20:1 should not be used...were you on primary or secondary? Try ignition on primary that is safer for the scope and will yield about the same information...thanks for watching...If you have not already subscribed to our tstseminars RUclips channel please do so. @@TSTseminars I literally tool the cop tool and shoved it on the coil and all I saw on the cop was the ecm controlling it. The car had p0300. Mode 6 showed nothing. I saw one coil not producing anything so I just r&r. I was hoping to see a secondary event to help me feel better and confirm. So are we suppose to just current ramp and watch control volt and r&r coils? I'll look into your site. I've been subscribed to you for a very long time

    • @TSTseminars
      @TSTseminars  2 года назад

      @@PaulOneel You would current the coil and low for an amperage difference. Sometimes the secondary adaptors do work great on every ignition system. Amperage ramp should help you out.
