Thank you for watching AMPLIFIED #792/ WHITE RIDER #62
How do you not have1 million subscribers this is better than cable tv
Honestly It surprises me how many people sit and comment every video about things taking time! All Doug is doing is bringing us along for the ride, don't complain about the dude making you laugh your ass off while building cool shit!
I’m so glad I can go about 3 months without watching, randomly think of the show, come back, and he’s got maybe 15% progress.I dig that.
It's the dragonball z of car channels
I love your channel and I watch all the time, but I wonder what it's like for somebody that has never watched one of your videos. Like, to watch this for the first time..... You'd be like WTF?!?!
I’ve watched for years and I’m like wtf 2x a week. I’m pretty sure Doug wouldn’t have it any other way.
I have too, and every episode I'm like "wow, Russell is an asshat"
I just started watching a few weeks ago, all I do now in my spare time is watch his older videos
@@N_Simerson i binged a couple seasons on a Saturday and i cant stop lol. I know a lot of garage install guys and never been on any level like this. Also subscribe to exo contralto
Everyone had their “first time” of Doug and their WTF moments. Now we just can’t get enough of this dude! It’s too bad we can’t go back to 5 days a week of him!
orders wheels... and then measures to see if they fit
They’re being custom built, Work requested some measurements.
W.t.f 7min commercial you cant skip for some pos hot jett system
Wont those rims break faster than the suspension? xD you get em Doug xD
One word - adblock. But don't block our boy Dougie Fresh
Measure once cut twice. Lmao
Legend says that Battery Rack Part 16, we get to see what it looks like installed! May of 2019 looks lit! Can't wait!
My wife bought me an early Christmas present. Nothing says Happy Holidays like Russell's favorite mug! She knows me too well.
Doug, think you’ll like this one. I was doing a small system today in a charger for a customer. I had amplified playing on my iPad. The customer asked, you watch Doug? I said yeah I want to see this band pass done because I don’t know which one I like more, the T bird or the mule! He said it doesn’t mater they were both just popped out of a CNC router! Anybody can just glue boards together. I just stopped and said oh guess you have been watching a while!! Wonder how many people think the same
The funny part is that the box isn't even done yet. So now we get to see the box build part 96 after the battery rack build part 7 after Doug stops all work on the T-bird to work on the Acura. Nonetheless I still watch every episode. Thank you Doug!
Douglas - get a nice bench vice and use it to hold down those metal parts when you grind them. It's much easier and safer.
You did good Doug , those new wheels will look sick!!! Your old choice would have been horrible.
You crack me up Doug. Thanks for all the laughs man, they help after a long day.
Great choice! I think your right about the body style being a little too new for wires.
DUDE! Work emitz are sick wheels! I can’t wait to see how they’ll look on the car
Nice wheels. Those are gonna be pretty sick on the bird.
Limited Wheels use to make some crazy full face wheels back in the day. Ran a few sets of them when i was in College. Limited 241's and a few others. Now that brings back some memories.
Doug, you give hope to those of us that only have a Dremel.... *YEEEEHAWWWW*
dude, you should bring the vehicles and setup a vendor booth at LoneStar Throwdown in February!
Great wheel choice. Can't wait to see them
Every once in a while I remember that old Amplified episode with the Rafa ass pumper. That shit was hilarious!
I'm a bit sad that you're not going with some 13" Dayton wires. Add a drag block on the back and throw some sparks!
Gotta love Work wheels, I had XT7's on my Evo X... memories :*-)
5:32 Daniel will be complaining that you were welding without wearing gloves 😂
Those work wheels are gonna look so good for this build
I absolutely can’t wait to see the new episodes every week. Absolutely fanfuckingtastic!
4 batteries in a cross pattern equals 2 1/2 battery width (1/2 x 4 square in middle. Sit cross on a bent 1" wide circle band, to fit into wheel well.
Time to pop some Cobra calipers and 13” rotors on that bad mamajama. Those factory single pistons are looking about 25 years old lol. The Works should look killer.
What if you stack the batteries on there sides, posts facing away would give you more clearance. Two on each side. Then the charger thingy on top. Might look coo. Put the charger outlet behind the license plate, like old cars used to do with the gas cap. Have it swing away
That rafa chewbacca voice had me in tears.
Yo Doug, when can we expect the pre ordered explosion hoodies to ship out? I saw you displayed the final product and I'm stoked!
Put the batteries in each quarter panel, 2 on each side, hide the solenoids and such in the spare wheel well
I use a jig saw too that's why they sell metal blades😎
You could always put a slight curve in the bracket that holds your trays. This will allow the tops of the batteries to fan apart a little, and you might be able to get all 4 of them in there. Just a thought. It might also add a cool look to add some shape to the "display of the batteries". Because they are AGM batteries, they don't have to lay flat (which you obviously already know), so use that to your advantage!
I like the Depeche you dropped in there, Doug!
Two Depeche songs in one video?!?!?! Made my morning.
You love your films. What are you gonna do with the extra battery. My system would love it.
here's an idea for the battery rack, cant you lift the trays having 2 higher than the other 2(high,low,high,low) that way you can all four sitting in line? An inch or so should do it
I did wonder about the jigsaw but whatever works is good however I was thinking you should use a vice to hold the metal. Can you get a bit closer to the mule, I'm not sure it's getting covered in enough welding sparks where it is.
Just need to chrome plate the brake calipers next.
Can you drop the batteries down an inch or so for extra room?
The wheels look sick Doug!
Usually you know your gonna cut and reinforce the heck out of any car your gonna throw hydros on but hey its your ride make it your own DB! From what you say the plans are itll be somthin special im sure
The rims are dope man. Lookin good.
Can you turn the batteries the other way and put two side by side
That's what I think he should do!
I was thinking the same thing, but he never let us in the trunk to see if it would work. 🤔
Yeah that's what I was thinking....
Stupid dougie. We are so much smarter than him!😂😂
I forgot why I started watching this channel, oh yeah something about circle thingies. Rims, no wait, hmmmm... I'll go listen to some tunes, it will come to me.
Arrange the trays to take the arch that would be created by making all the battery sides flush into consideration.
After that last weld the mule’s engine mount twisted and the F150’s sub box pass thru began taking on water.
We told You!
The wheels you were talking about are INTRO’s smoothies
215/35/19 rubber on this thing is gonna look nasty, good stuff doug
With the stock ET it will push the outer lip out 1/2" and the inner lip 1/2" in. Also can you mount the batteries in an arch?
Detroit Steel Wheels offer a big smooth face wheel. They're more of a rat rod style but still awesome.
Why do you tack weld vs stacking dimes. I'm not hating, but stacking dimes is easy stuff, especially on black metal. If you're worried about blowing through, just turn down your wire speed and give it a run. You just start and build a small puddle, move forward briefly, move back towards the puddle you started with, and move forward. Rinse and repeat and stack them dime, homie. What you're doing is obviously working, just seems like it would be simple for someone like you unless there is something else making that not possible. You've got some mad skills and all my respek. Either way, it doesn't matter what you did, Doug.
How are you NOT gonna put wire knocks off on this bird turtle?! Daytons please! Not gonna lie though those rims do look pretty sick.
Rustles mom got a bad idea with that jig saw. Placing one of Rustles 10X larger than life rubber willies you have on the blade. She will go to town, dreaming of what a real man Rustle could have become.
You should elevate the two outer batteries that should give you just enough space between.
Sick rim choice dough !! Barrel big Lip them out !
You can leave it as is and should still be able to keep the spare tire area. What day you good sir?
Take a lateral persuasion device (sledge hammer) on the spare tire well.
Yup that battery rack is gonna twist!!!!
I was hoping you would go with some 13 inch gold Dayton’s
You could raise the outer batteries higher than the middle ones to get more space. Is it enough, that I don't know. :)
Doug...Did WORK give you a build est date? I have a friend that paid and waited +3 months after the promised date. Only to be told to wait more....just FYI.
i like to measure before i cut, sometimes i even do it twice
At the 4 min mark it looks like you are making a shopping cart.
anyone else rewatching because cant pay attention during premiere because chat too damn funny
Work Emitz are highly sought after. How come you didn’t buy used wheels and rebuild them? Wouldn’t that be cheaper?
“Part 2”
Russell Francis Jr. Russell the muscle
It keeps bringing your dumb ass
🖕
Your the sucker it keep reeling Russell
Lerry Headred
I actually think Doug is a talented guy.
Keep up, the Grind Doug you can do it brother
Dude can’t wait to see the rims 😛😛😱
Frank Reynolds motivational
Instead of a jigsaw, you should use the saw blade in a leatherman.
A lot of people don't realize that wood and metal bandsaws operate at different blade speeds. You could absolutely throw a metal blade on that bandsaw... and then burn all the teeth off of it in the first cut.
Would of looked dope on some Colorado Custom Valdes wheels. Some people call them the Makavelis because they were the wheels on Suge's beemer when Tupac got shot.
I bet Daniel still thinks the fibers from the scouring pad are going to blow the engine.
It doesn't mather what you did, Doug !!!
What the fawk dougy?????? I still see the mule......... When are you going to finish the mules dash?????? What the fewk!!!!!!
Why not lift the battery trays up just high enough on that current frame work to where they fit. Then build some bracing to support on the current frame
that weight out by the rear corners will help that free standing three wheel. Well thats the only way you gona do it in a tbird.
I ran six in my bird. 72 volts My G. What is 48?
I think the company name that you're looking for a centerline's things to make rooms like that at least here in Canada
Can you widen the tire well? Sledgehammer that hole!
duuuddeee. when you said work emitz i was like. is this real life? is this happening??? Fuckk yessssss
better be getttin dat big boi dish on the asssss
EMITZ!?!? HELL YES DOUG!!!!
Could you just notch the spare tire well? Cut it where you need room and weld in some new sheet metal to close it back in around the battery rack. Just an idea.
I guess they've never heard of metal cutting blades for a jigsaw? haha
That is definitely going to twist
Rims look slick
Rip it!!!!
hey doug not sure on your battery dimensions or the size of your wheel well but would it not fit with the batteries laid out as == instead of IIII
Smashed it ten times!!
hi doug
do you know if the agm battery company you used will ship to canada
If the batteries don’t fit it will make a good sled
You should do a Q&A after each premier. JS
New Style Old School Low Riders.
Go with the D1600 XSpower you still get 48v with just 3
Damn no LA wires Daniel! LOL
Stagger the outer batteries up! Then you could use all of them!
Doug, did you CNC your metal fab table?
I used a jigsaw for metal as well until I got a sawsall fuking love it
All sick
Can you hide the forth batt under the batterery rack
How much for the wheels? they would look very nice on my camry
I've been here the whole time
arrange the batteries in a + shape. still 3 wide but the 2 middle ones stacked -=-
