soak whole spices (khada garam masalas)
cut onions(sliced)
cut potatoes
cut tomatoes (chopped)
cut green chilies(chopped)
seprate mint leaves
chop fresh coriender
clean n wash chicken

chicken. 500 gm
rice (chawal) 500 gm( kolam rice)
(you can use basmati or long grain rice bt water amount will change as per rice quality)
Water. 1 litre
whole spices

star anise. (badiyan) 1 nos.
bay leaves (tej patta ). 3 nos.
black pepper ( Kali mirch)1/2 tsp
cumin ( jeera). 1 tsp
cardamon(ilaychi). 3-4 nos.
cinnamon( Taj). small half inch
onoins. 4 nos.(medium size)
ginger paste.
( adrak paste) 1 tbsp
garlic paste.
( lasan paste) 1 tbsp
potatoes. 2 nos.( medium size)
turmaric( haldi). 1/2 tsp
salt ( namak. ). as per taste
red chilli powder. 1 tbsp or as per taste
whole spices powder - home made
tomatoes. 2 nos. ( medium size)
green chilles.
(hari mirch) 3 nos.
mint leaves. 1cup
(fudina)
coriender
(kothmir). hand full
