I grew up in Chattanooga. This was the first actual mountain bike trail I ever rode. Still one of my favorite trails because you can send it hard as hell without having to worry about technical features
I rode this trail while in vacation a couple of years ago and your right about it being fun and non-tech. It's on my ride again list if I'm ever over that way again.
Nice riding! I totally see what you mean about the speeder bike effect. We've got a few trails here that illicit the same feeling. I guess the bike noises aren't that big of a deal now that you've got your shiny new YT haha. And wow this is the type of riding where the gimbal really shines. The footage is crystal clear and smooth as glass.
Thanks Jordan. The noise ended up being one of the dropouts on the rear axle. I tore the bike down quite a bit and cleaned, tightened and re-lubed everything and now its nice and quiet again, it was simple enough I could have actually done that mid trip, oh well. The EVO gimbal has been behaving amazingly, really happy with it. The YTs hub is so loud I don't I'd ever hear any creaks hahaha. Hope to get some footage on it this weekend.
You're very quiet today (not a dig...just an observation). My wife and I always enjoy your commentaries but just watching the flow of the trail through the woods was lovely. Great video as always...hope your trip to TN was fantastic.
Hey Joe. This was a while ago by now, I'm not exactly sure why I was a bit more quiet but I've noticed it happens in a few videos that I either talk more or less than usual. I try to keep the videos authentic by not really planning much on what to say and just going with the flow, sometimes it means just enjoying the ride I guess. Glad you and your wife have been enjoying the videos. That trip to TN was awesome, hope to go back soon, I really liked every place I rode. From the nice flow of enterprise south to the absolute insanity that is windrock bike park.
Definitely...you always seem to reacting to the ride...the bike...the trail...not scripted whatsoever. My wife doesn't quite share my "enthusiasm" for wandering down the RUclips "Rabbit Holes" but she always enjoys your videos. We're heading up to ride Forks Area Trail System (FATS) in SC (just across the border from GA) next weekend but will be hitting the Tanasi Trail System as well as the new trail system up in Cherokee, NC come Autumn.
Fun ride! Need to find some flow trails like this. Tech is fun, but starts to beat you up if you ride it every day. Also, the cackling laughter in the tunnel was pretty freaky. 0.o
Definitely, I was glad to ride a place like this after two days of techier riding. I know, exactly why I left it in, the bunker really makes it sound super creepy! Lets see if the person doing the laugh chimes in, he should watch this eventually lol
Hi! So long story.... I'm going to be racing here! I'm trying to win the title of TN State Champion. Yes, I'm a junior. I used to race BMX, but then I quit and found out what mountain biking was when my family moved to Elizabethton, TN. So uh yeah XD
From the parking lot you'll find an entrance to the main loop. Depending on the day it'll flow clockwise or counterclockwise. In general, you don't have to navigate much, the loop covers all trails. There's just a few intersections where you'd want to check trailforks
Just moved to Tennessee, and I’ve just started getting into mountain biking with my dad, I’ve got a new 2020 Schwinn boundary, gonna upgrade the fork from 80mm to atleast 120mm and change the 7 speed to probably a 10 speed or 12. Any recommendations in the area for a beginner?
Enterprise south and Knoxville Urban wilderness are great. Ride that Schiwinn as is into the ground, don't spend too much money on it, if you think about upgrading too many things, at a certain point it'll be better to just buy something else. If you're a beginner just enjoy the bike.
I just moved here too. I have a great mtn bike but I’ve been afraid to take it on any trails. I’m a road cyclist dirt riding is so different. I’ve only ever done easy double track. Did you try this trail and was it a good beginner trail for an old lady like me?
BlindstuffMTB thanks for the heads up and yeah as for the Schwinn, I’ll just be swapping out the fork for something that gives me a lil bit more travel, and tires, that’s it, the 7speed cassette and deraileur aren’t that bad for the bike, I still haven’t had the time to go to the park yet, might go Wednesday when I’m free.
It was a theoretical buy; I test rode a bunch of bikes with similar components and geometries to get an idea around what I wanted and then just compared numbers. I tried a Capra to get a feel for the frame, the Bronson and 5010, etc, etc and between all of them I kinda knew what I was getting. The only thing I couldn't test was a frame that was as progressive as the Jeffsy, but it turned out great I actually really like the progressiveness of the linkage.

Vraiment remarquable, très bien filmé. 👍👏🌲🌲🌲
Merci!

This video is the next best thing to actually riding..Had to watch it twice. A bit of a mindgasm.
Happy to hear you enjoyed it! 🤘
Quite good video, awesome!

3:06 aww, I was really hoping to hear Stefano scream like a banshee too
That park is nice but you needed to ride Raccoon Mountain. No Tn bicycle trip is complete without checking off that one. I ride a trance as well.
wes tipton I've been trying for incredibly long. That's my next SE stop.
Very nice
fun place

That's awesome man, I wish I had started when I was younger. Have fun in the race, best of luck!
I’m going here next weekend! Which loop is this?

@@rosep8481 it's quite mellow. A few sections may worry you, which you could easily walk and keep riding after that

Missy P haven’t gone yet🙃 busy unpacking and organizing
Great ride bro! Nice flow. Can't wait to see the new bike in action! Did you test ride the YT or just go for it?

BlindstuffMTB Awesome!
sounds like lose crank arms I'd say the right one is looser nice ride
That was a worn our bottom bracket, I don't have that bike anymore but I fixed it shortly after filming this video.
Well I don’t think a nine year old like me could ride there without falling off and breaking all bones in their body
