The absolute respect for the Nordic culture shown in this trailer makes me want to buy this game when it comes out. I never played AC before, but now, I think I will give it a go. Skål!
I've played many, not all, iterations of AC, their attention to detail is staggering. In AC IV Black Flag, they bring back an entire songbook of sea shanties that are sung while you're at sea. The first time I heard it, and I had not seen any trailers of it, I almost dropped my controller, it was so amazing. Fantastic atmosphere. I've also been to Venice, but not to the San Marco cathedral. Through Assassin's Creed I have run around in it. The graphics are stunning, the soundscape is gorgeous and the atmosphere is mesmerizing. I've not liked all iterations but in general it's a great franchise. I love it a great deal.
Finding this audio described game trailer made us so unbelievably excited!!! Never thought we as visually impaired people would experience inclusion within the gaming community. Thank you for inserting this audio description. Does this mean that the actual game will have optional accessibility presets? We have our fingers crossed!!!
Total Sales per AC Game in millions of copies sold (physical and digital): 1) Assassin’s Creed: 11-12 million 2) Assassin’s Creed II: 12-13 million 3) Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood: 7 million 4) Assassin’s Creed Revelations: 9-10 million 5) Assassin’s Creed III: 13-14 million 6) Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag: 12-13 million 7) Assassin’s Creed Unity + Assassin's Creed Rogue: 9-10 million (with Assassin's Creed Unity having around 8-9 million and Assassin's Creed Rogue around 1-2 million) 8) Assassins Creed Syndicate: 5-6 million (physical and digital) 9) Assassin’s Creed Origins: 9-10 million (physical and digital) 10) Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: 7-8 million (physical and digital) However as for some the data of the total sales from VGChartz for the games after AC IV might not seem reliable, here are the first week sales that were released by Ubisoft themselves: First Week Sales per AC Game in millions of copies sold: 1) Assassin’s Creed: 1.24 million 2) Assassin’s Creed II: 3.27 million 3) Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood: 0.99 million 4) Assassin’s Creed Revelations: 2.22 million 5) Assassin’s Creed III: 3.52 million 6) Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag: 2.36 million 7) Assassin’s Creed Unity: 1.59 million 8) Assassins Creed Syndicate: 0.92 million 9) Assassin’s Creed Origins: 1.51 million 10) Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: 1.40 million So there is a steep decline in Assassin's Creed, and the more the new games deviate from what Assassin's Creed was, based on the "10 Commandments of AC", written by the original creators and developers of AC, including Patrice Désilets, back in 2008-2010, when the first three AC games were made, then the games will be dissapointing their original fans that supported the series into becoming so large. And because of that, the sales are falling, and new players are not enough to cover the losses. Hence, as this new AC game is even further from being an AC than Odyssey, then it will have even less sales, and perhaps even be the last AC games due to financial decline!
I mean you're not wrong. Get some second triumvirate(maybe prelude being death of Assassin Brutus), a fall of the Empire, some Frankish kings stuff, then First Crusade (and or second) and you've more or less filled in the major Mediterranean game worthy moments pre Third Crusade.
I feel the advisor is most likely a Templar. The way he looks at the king with he puts the deal on the paper as if he made a move to further his goals. Also the ways he looks at the Viking may be more because of the hidden blade(an assassin weapon) then him killing the bigger guy.
The games of this company lack a lot of important things, This gives an explanation why they make games so quickly every year!!, unlike great Company (Rockstar Games) it takes 7 years to make a wonderful full game
They're no longer in game? Wow, that sucks... wanted to do a re-run of it once I'm done re-playing Odyssey and the gods were a nice breake from the main plot. Not really challenging but still, fun.

Oh look, a *budget Vikings Series episode about a Total War game*........What has this entire trailer got to do with Assassins Creed apart from the blade at the end? Honestly, this is as subtle as an elephant in a porcelain shop.
The statue is in fact NOT Odin. (or at least shouldnt be depicted as such it SHOULD be Tyr) Odin is missing his right eye which he plucked out and threw into Mimir’s Well - which is also known in the mythology as the Well of Urd. Odin did this in exchange of knowledge. Tyr on the other hand (no pun intended) intentionally made a deal with the wolf Fenrir where he placed his hand in Fenrir's jaw as a sign of good faith. When Fenrir realized he was tricked he bit down and Chomped off Tyrs left hand. Tyr Is also commonly recognized in the mythology as the god of war. (although he was a god of much more as well) Now how does this all apply to the statue. Well The statue has both eyes and is missing a left hand. They also appear to be being blessed prior to sailing off to combat/battle. It was not uncommon to say prayers or make sacrifices to Tyr prior to battle. So because the statue is NOT missing either eye and IS missing a hand. Either this would be Tyr or the devs made HUGE HUGE mistake and made some major much avoidable issues when trying to properly portraying the mythology in the game world.
the videos is for a good cause but they could have narration with some enthusiasm or energy it would have been much better for the audience to be immersed to whom UBI is trying to approach...but rest its for a good cause and i like what UBI is trying to do.
Bruh, i hope this one is better than all the latest ones. All the recent ones like Odyssey,Origins and Syndicate don't feel like Assassins Creed, they feel like classic fighting games like For Honour. AC Rogue was the last game that felt like a AC game. Bring back the parkour and one button fighting. BTW AC Black flag was best AC in my opinion.
yo i am surprised bro. yo what a game. yo unbelievable.bro i have no words to say. but i can say it is very ultra nice and woooooooow and amazing by it's graphics and it's story and it's action.bro it's wonderful and wonderful. yo i really want to see it. Ubisoft and it's developers congratulations for this game. bro in my opinion if you give us character choice like assassins' creed odyssey then honestly it's story looks unrealistic but if you give us characters as you give us in origin then we will feel it is realistic hope you understand it. thanks for making this game
It's a nice thing you're doing Ubi. Nice thing indeed. I wish you also bothered to translate your stuff (trailers, games) into Ukrainian language as it is always overlooked by the loca department...
After watching 30 minute leaked game Ubisoft I assure you that it is a good game? Does it have Vikings? Yes Are they Brutal? Yes Is it cool ? Yes Is it ac? Took me a moment to realize this was an audio description version. I was thinking “wow this is a very chatty trailer!”

lmao @ Rob L I was thinking the same thing too, I was like is this Animus talking? Why is this happening what will happen oh lord =O

In Old Norse it's written as "skál" btw
I watched this and I'm not even blind.. I'm just checking it out for when a blonde norse man pulls his blade from my eye hole.
Can we have this narrator narrate our journey in the game? Please
This looks like a better movie than the actual assassins creed one
ACR_24 ouch
You can't possibly tell. In a vaccum, action scenes in a movie were great and very in style of AC's cinematics. The narrative was a problem.

I'm really happy the hidden blade is back, just like the old days.
I mean it's not really a assassin creed without it
Dutch Van der linde
I like how they put the blade above the arm since it’s technically the “right” way
We got the hidden blade thats a plus now all we need now is AC story open world free roam and epic ac game of the year.
