If you notice when stolas says hes terrified to make these feelings true hes referring to when he gives the Cristal to blitz he's scared (hes got a feeling biltz will not choose him simply because its something blitz wants) so when he does give it to blitz if he chooses to end there contract it'll be painful and hes scared but either way he wants to try and make amends even if blitz did choose the Cristal
