Very informative. I had to replace the door lock and the front seal clamp on mine. I then discovered that there was another seal clamp further inside and just as corroded as the forward one. So now I got some real interesting repairs to do on the front and rear of this washer. I'll let you know how it goes.
@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel Greatgooglymoogly!!!!!!! This has become depot level maintenance. I disassembled the motor. Ordered the sensor and the inner tub clamp. But I remembered a slight leak from the drain hose. When I looked at it it broke in half in my hand. (yeah I'm that ugly) Removed the top of the washer next and found a lot of corrosion on the bare metal parts, The 5 hose clamps going into the detergent dispenser all have to be replaced. Also the clamp on the outflow part of the dispenser. Only positive thing is I'm a Navy trained AD with a Engineering Degree and currently semiretired. So this will keep me out of juvie for a while. And if I don't repair this right my wife will come down from heaven and strangle me with strings from her harp. Will let you know how it goes.
Only thing I’d suggest is using a plastic slider underneath to avoid floor damage. Windex helps but you are still taking risk. If you are doing it in your own home then it is ok, but as a field service tech myself I rather be safe than sorry. But as always good video sir
We were getting this error on this model, but the problem has gotten bigger. I hope you can suggest next steps for me. One of the people using the machine was getting the LE error in the middle of the wash cycle. Instead of telling me, they would just restart the machine, and run a rinse and spin cycle to finish off their load. Then the last time they ran a load, the washer shut down completely, tripping the circuit breaker. We reset the circuit, and I made sure there was really power to the outlet. I plugged in the washing machine again, but it still acts like it has no power at all. No lights, no nothing. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
Hi Joseph, Can you try this: How to reset the washing machine: Press POWER to turn the washer off. Unplug the washer from the power outlet or turn the circuit breaker to the unit off. With the power disabled, press and hold the START/PAUSE button for 5 seconds. Plug the washer back in, or turn the circuit breaker back on.
I have a LG WM3670HVA Washer. but It does not spin with LE error code. I can not find out the rotor position sensor. there is no rotor sensor of the machine. How can I fix it ?
I have the same washing machine, when I turn on I fill up with water, but then the engine does not turn. Error LE comes out, the engine does not turn. Can you help me?
I was looking at LGs website in the comments sections and the tech there mentioned that you can reset an LE code by unplugging the washer and hold the power button down for ten seconds. But that would be if the code was triggered by a too heavy load. Any idea that it works?
@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel are you certain you could not have gotten a new sensor and swapped it? Was the sensor on there removable? I only ask because I have a Kenmore that sears does not have listed as having a separate part number. @ 3:47 on your video you can see the sensor. Perhaps the manufacture stated that you had to buy the whole unit but in face a generic Washer Motor Rotor Position Sensor 6501KW2002A would have done the trick? Do you recall if the sensor was removeable?
It does look like the sensor is the common type available separately. However, I'm grateful for the video, as it confirms exactly the same issues as my washing machine is exhibiting. (Partial turns, weird noises, etc). I've also tested the hall sensor, as there's another informative video on RUclips how to test them with an ohm meter and it indeed seems to be faulty.
I've listened n watched lots of videos. But urs are best described. Thank u
Thanks so much😊

The video shows how to fix the LE error👍

I solved it by turning the inner basket, but I realized that if the basket is detached, what should I do now?

In mine doesnot have senser and the same error
Might be time for a new Rotor.
Yours might be stripped.
The motor has a 10 year guarantee you do not use the guarantee?
That’s a good idea👍
@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel The guarantee is only on the motor parts. The repair for the technician you need to pay by yourself. So its not worth it.
Why did you change whole stater assambly it could be only sense
Senser
Yep,
On that model they didn’t sell the sensor separately .
