    HI , that's a lot of info out there ! I am kind of lost LOL . I have installed the GTM into my shopify store and added a Google Ads Conversion Tracking Tag . My question is what the trigger type should be ? And in this video , you mentioned the "Order status page additional scripts" , what this for ? I checked my store and is blank . What material should I put ? Sorry for so much questions

      the "Order status page additional scripts" this is the best place to be adding in the Event Snippet. Set the Google tag part up in GTM if that is easier for you. I prefer to place mine in the header of the Theme.liquid.

      @@launchpresso Thank you for your fast and detailed feedback . I am a beginner on this thing , as I explore , there is a app called Google&RUclips channel . I have installed this app and let my Google Ads and GA4 connected , in my Google ads account , Google automatically generated some conversion action to purchase, add to cart .Does it mean I don't need to GTM to install on my shopify store since the GA and google adwords is integrated into this Google&RUclips app ?

    Hi, how do I find the script for the checkout page? I can only find the google tag html in which you showed in the video for the liquid theme section? Where is the snippet for the order script section? I remember seeing it was a different bit of code when I initally set it up but it doesnt show that in the settings in google? Thanks

      Yeah the Checkout script area has been deprecated to make way for the 'Customer Events' to be used to fire code or scripts in Shopify now. You can 'revert' back so you can see the scripts in the Checkout Settings. Its a very small link at the very bottom of the page in the text with the clickable link 'revert' or something along those lines.

    Hi Tim, love your videos! I have a small problem. I accidentally removed the html script from the order status page and it lasted a week before I saw on the Google Ads dashboard that my ads weren't tracking any new conversions. After I added the html code again my ads started to spend like crazy (about 2x the daily budget) for the last week with a very bad ROAS. My question to you is; Did I mess up the optimisation for the ad account? and how long will it take before my account will perform like before again?

      Sorry for only get back to you now. My personal life has been a little hectic lately. Google has the option to spend up 2x on a given day but it will even out to what your daily budget is over a 30.4 day period assuming you haven't made any daily budget changes. If you need help double checking your tracking, feel free to reach out to me via launchpresso.com

    what you suggest (google and youtube) shopify app is best for conversion tracking or manually adding code into the checkout setting and header?

    • @launchpresso
      @launchpresso  4 месяца назад

      Depends on yourself.. If the store is small, I would personally set up G&YT for all teh secondary conversions and set up a proper conversion tag for purchases purely for proper Enhanced Conversions

    At 5.00 conversion event snippet, shopify won't let me save it with your additional code at the top?

    • @launchpresso
      @launchpresso  3 месяца назад

      It should. Sounds weird. Can you still access the Checkout Snippets area or no?
      Shopify a deprecating this and shifting conversion events to the 'Customer Event' area in Shopify.
