I was initially really hyped for this figure, but kinda have mixed feelings. I feel the head is a little too big and I wish the doors could have been different in order to make them look more like her "wings". ❤
Or added some exdening armatures for better placement. Door-wings are typically seen protuding from somewhere close to a human's shoulder blade is. I think it's mounted a bit low.
I love the RID 2015 universe and all its amazing futuristic designs, and I wanted a good Strongarm for the longest time, so I'm so happy this figure is coming! I think Toyhax will be able to work some magic here, their RID sticker sets were among their best! Hoping for a RID Sideswipe and Jazz in Legacy!
I loved Strongarm in RID and was worried this new toy wouldn't be good but you've sold me! Better yet, this gives me hope that we'll be getting a Legacy Steeljaw!
I really liked the Robots in Disguise show from 2015, I think a core class fixit would be so awesome, also I think that Hasbro probably has a Steeljaw in the works.
I really didn't think I would want to double dip on the Elita-1 mould but this is tempting. That backpack looks so much better and the better articulation should make transforming her less of a pain. Hopefully a third party makes replacement feet because the Elita-1 ones look terrible and the existing upgrade feet don't fit properly in vehicle mode.

seeing her in 2023 is taking me back to 2015 cus i always liked RID15, even if the fans don't love the show, im personally biased cus i watched some episodes on Netflix and i hope to continue watching the series someday
I think there's only three adjustments that need adjusting with this Strongarm figure, in order: raise the door-wing placement some in robot mode, better foot transformation, and a better weapon.
Strongarm may not be the most well loved character (she can be more than a little obnoxious, really) but her visual design is really striking, and while I wouldn't have picked this engineering to remold as her, it does seem to work pretty well. It certainly ends up looking more like her show model than just about any of the previous toys. As for putting her with your TFES display ... I honestly expected Mom's truck to be her in disguise all along 😄
I thought the contrasting dynamic between her by the book attitude and sideswipe's rebellious and carefree vibe was fun and created some conflict of the group! Her also being a fangirl of team prime was kinda cute too! 😅😆 overall, I really like her design! She that big chunky police truck is sick! She looks like she could be an apprentice to Prowl or something. 👍🏻
I’ve never liked the Rid designs and when it was revealed I didn’t care at all and I wasn’t impressed by the back kibble but it does look alright but I’m probably not gonna pick it up

Maybe Galvatronus, but since this cant combine at all we likely wont get another figure of her to go with Ultra bee. Plus we just got Menasor AND a g1 redeco gift set of him as well.
While Bludgeon, and Trashmaster are my most anticipated out of this wave, Strong Arm looks to be the best deluxe. Never got Elita 1 so this mold despite the heavy retooling would be a first for me. Weapon is a bit lackluster but aside that a very nice representation and improvement over the original. A very nice carry over into Legacy.

Fixit isn't really known for his transformation or alt mode. Tricerashot and Sawtooth would be better options. Sawtooth is the weaponizer minicon that paired with Strongarm, after all.

As someone who is autistic and OCD, I don’t want two of the same molds in my collection with the exception of the Beast Wars characters. That being said I have Elita-1 and I bought Shadow Stiker. Attaching her headlights to her legs was a nightmare for me. Her tab on her right kneecap broke so I exchanged her and behold! The same thing happened again so returning her and buying Strongarm and I’m going to replace Elita-1 with Strongarm in my collection and give Elita-1’s weapons to Strongarm. My only complaint is underneath her robot mode is clearly visible I wish they’d make a black cover that can attach to the underside to cover it. It wouldn’t be a parts former though, the black cover can transform and fold up to make her weapon that she used in the show. Like a pitchfork type weapon but that more along the lines of a masterpiece type weapon. It could fold up like a iPad type thing to be her “clipboard” like the hologram she used in the show or fold up to make some sort of accessory. These characters are suppose to be robots in DISGUISE. Being able to see the undercarriage is not a disguise lol
I think he’s saving Primal for the last. I’m getting the new Hot shot repaint, and this Strongarm, Detritus, and SS86 Ultra Magnus, Devcon, and I still haven’t gotten Tarn yet
This actually looks like a really nice and satisfying figure overall. I haven’t watched RiD yet, but I’m sure I’d like this figure even more after watching the show. It is definitely a shame to see them drop the other paint details from the box (and tbh essentially false advertise but… ight I guess lol,) though it isn’t a dealbreaker overall.
I love Strongarm, I had the old figure you showed off but with Reprolabels. We definitely need a Steeljaw and I can definitely see a Recolor/Remold of G1 Grimlock into his RID 2015 counterpart if he does I'll buy two and give one to my brother, he loves that grimlock
I'm assuming that if you own the Takara Transformers Adventures Optimus Prime that came with a bunch of weapons, you could give the Strongarm gun that the figure came with to this figure, right? Either that, or wait for someone on EBay to make one. Overall, though, I think that I will definitely add this to my collection. My only critique ( besides the feet and the weapon) is that the Jeep mode does look a little flat when compared to her TV show model, but I can get over that. Still waiting on SS ROTB Primal like everyone else so hope that review goes up soon

Oh my gosh, Transformers Robots in Disguise 2015 cartoon series was my most favorite show during 2015, i cannot believe that Hasbro and Takara Tomy do such a fantastic job on Robots in Disguise universe Strongarm, so cartoonist accurate that what i remember from the show 😃. Unfortunately ONLY her weapon not accurate, but this figure is still amazing. Hopefully we can see MORE Transformers from Robots in Disguise universe like Sideswipe or Grimlock soon 😁. Strongarm can be a bit tight on regulations, but you can't deny her growth.
Besides, I thought RID 15 Sideswipe was more of a pain in the neck than Strongarm.
