If it doesn't work out for you, try this instead.
@Excursioner If you after pairing them together press and hold play/pause for 5 sec. before playing music (sometimes when playing), they would play in TWS.
I tried this method but only one of the speakers plays in stereo (it plays just one channel), the other speaker stays in mono and plays both channels, does this happen to you?
I got it working: This is what i did in order to pair an Onyx 5 with an Onyx 6 in STEREO mode: 1) Turn on both speakers; 2) Connect ONLY to the Onyx *5*; 3) Hold the bluetooth button on the Onyx 5 first, until it enters pair mode (it will start beeping); 4) Then hold the bluetooth button on the Onyx 6 until it beeps too. After a second or so, both speakers will play a chime and will pair, entering Mono mode; 5) Start playing a song (it'll take a couple of seconds when they're paired); 6) Hold the play button on the Onyx 5 until the LED blinks on both speakers. One of them will enter stereo mode while the other will still be playing mono; 7) Pause the song for about 5 seconds (if you put an ear next to one of the speakers' handle you'll hear some white noise, wait until it stops making noise) 8) Finally play the song once more: both speakers are now in stereo mode (Onyx 5 will be Left channel, Onyx 6 will be Right channel)
Is it worth to get another onyx studio to connect 2? I want a bit improvement but don't want the bass to high. Bass is good, just wish more sound coming out other than bass. Otherwise, might thinking to get bose, I do love HK though Thanks for the video

@@sefatiller80 honestly it sounds to me like the speaker itself may be defective. I can't imagine multiple other devices not being able to connect. My only other thought would be that there's a limit to how many devices can connect to the speaker at once. I would try turning off Bluetooth on the tablet, then trying to re pair another device to the speaker. Worst case scenario you may have to buy another "motherboard" or whatever main component receives/transmits the bluetooth connection. Typically it's all on one board.. Should cost less than replacing the whole speaker, especially because the drivers (the actual individual speakers inside of the unit) all probably still work. Best of luck to you.
@@egyman2006 This video says you can ruclips.net/video/pyjw4LVTIIY/видео.html&ab_channel=MarkWinston I took a chance a bought a pair of 6's. You can indeed pair them in stereo by holding the play button for 5 seconds. I can only get it to work if I have something playing on the speakers while I hold the play button, then the light on the front blinks and they change to stereo mode, which is fine because it makes it easier to tell you've switched them to stereo mode. I find the stereo mode a lot better too. In mono mode, the bass is really overpowering, but switching to stereo seems to even things out more, spreading the sound out more in stereo instead of just multiplying it in mono. In mono, I admit I didn't really like how in your face the bass is, but in stereo these are by far the best portable speakers I've used.
