Sometimes this song makes me unbearably sad. Other times it's the most peaceful and beautiful thing I've ever heard

I must admit, I only found Phoebe after reading an article that said she disses Eric Clapton in this song. Which lead me to uncover that she talks crap about him because he's a raging racist. So 1, I'm glad she enlightened me to the fact that Clapton is a racist. 2, I'm so glad she enchants me with her music. I love it! It's so beautiful and sad. It reminds me Dashboard Confessional, Eisley, Bright Eyes, and even Jewel's first album.
If you didn’t know already, Phoebe has an album with Bright Eyes’ lead singer Connor Oberst, called Better Oblivion Community Center! So if you like Bright Eyes, you’d love that!!

I'm not usually a fan of these but the way it's slowed down makes the instrumental POP OFF and makes it way more atmospheric. Great job

i made a film/music video to this song. about two kids who grew up into lovers. but the boyfriend never treated her right. treated her like shit. my cousin and his girlfriend were the actors. i loved them together so much. my cousin was my best friend. and his girlfriend was my best friend too. they broke up 2 months ago and i cant even watch my own film anymore. i miss them both so much. unfortunately, my film was the reality of their relationship.
