Yes they could of technically migrated to the base but considering the placed was untouched prior to their arrival it’s very unlikely the zombie pop in the area could of even fallen far enough to require it (FYI zone stories are those little stories told across Knox country ranging from free moving things like uniquely dressed zombies and annotated maps to much more stationary dependant things like house parties and emergency services responding to issues)
