Go 4 the Bowl Bakerneers ❤🎉❤
Bakerneers I love it.
They weren't good on 1st or 2nd because Dave Canalas had a philosophy of run no matter what. Plus it was his first year ever being a OC plus it was Baker's first year in Tampa and all the weapons in Tampa had a first year OC as well
The problem wasn't run on 1st or 2nd or whatever... the problem is we couldn't run it.
FIRE THE CANNONS!! The problem with 1st and 2nd Down and Canales wanted to run no matter what and kept at it. White took some time to finally break out and as he did over the season it did get better. It should be a different story come this season.
Man yall was wrong all year last year about the bucs
Bucs are going to work on that offensive line this offseason. It should improve some their terrible success on first and second down as mentioned. If not yes, the offense will probably take a step backwards. However, Jason Licht has been very good the last five years in picking up players either through the draft or undrafted players to fix parts of the team. It is in partuclar the undrafted gems the Bucs have made their performance on. Each year the Bucs have as many as 6 undrafted rookies on their team. Some come from Harvard, like Cameron Brate who contributed to the Super Bowl team a few years ago. Others are contributing every year. They are particularly good in that area.
