I think I prefer these types of videos of the pros as opposed to the BBC type. You get a great view of his action - stance etc. He has this real command when he's walking around the table - like he's prowling. Great vid, thanks Barton.

I've watched this video so many times over the couple of years as it's nice with just one camera focused on the legend and you can watch his elbow etc carefully
LOL but I didn't know Steve you recorded it.
I was fortunate enough to meet Ronnie 3 times and seen him play at the Alexandra Palace.

Amazing to watch! I love the fact that others on other tables are watching him instead of their opponent lol

A fantastic venue south west academy especially when it had a seating arena..... played a disabled event with the seating and a small audience on a star table played Daniel blunn got beat but what an experience all gone now sadly

Not one other player in that room could have cleared those up even to that point and in that sequence cos theyd have left the black there and maybe not even considered it but 4 shots before ronnies seen the route to black (knowing black on spot will tidy things up as well as make it a frame winner- shot making) and got pin point over on single reds over distance. Made it look very easy. Awesome. PS: hes also got the yellow back on the spot at shot 4 - again making things simpler. I bet his opponent didn’t even make a note of any of it. Watch ronnie not his aura.

It's the Southwest Snooker Academy in Gloucester. It closed down recently which is a real shame. Played there a few times and the tables were the best I've ever been on. In fact, I played on the very table Ronnie's on in this video.

@@mez7736 i visited there in 2016 and only the one o'sullivans playing on and the one to the left as you see on the video were proper star tables , in all honesty for such a facility relatively in the middle of nowhere it defeated the purpose having sub standard tables that you'd see in any general snooker club , it only goes to prove that pro snooker for me is too expensive to take seriously , sadly .

@@mez7736 well in name they all may have been star's but only the furthest two from the entrance door were proper pro star's with proper pro pockets , it was really underwhelming for me as i came all the way from london just to check the facility out and only those furthest two had sufficient space around them allowing you not to bump into others on other tables , i don't know why they'd compromise on any tables as it was used as a venue for the q school and for the very first ptc , maybe if they just stuck to proper spec pro tables it would have attracted more players and got more investment from them , i think thats the only way to go players themself have to invest in facilities .
