@@han36solo hi Han! Yes, I think I’ve finally accepted this truth. I like the bridge single coil but it’s not very useful outside of a blues or light rock context. If you want to be really versatile you need an HSS strat. Thanks so much my friend ❤️
@@user-bn4nc9fc8r Sure, no problem my friend. It's a BOSS OD-3 for the first half with less gain, then I kick in a BOSS DS-1 on top of that for the higher gain. I also have a Zoom G3 multi-fx in the chain where I'm using I think just a bit of compression and EQ. For an amp I used a Fender Blue Deluxe.
Thanks my friend! I guess at least I can say "honest take", like if somebody saw me playing live, it would be something like this, lots of mistakes and brain farts.
@@sadowskihomestudio no, fortunately. Most squiers come with the bigger rout. It was a drop in replacement, I just bought this (very ugly) HSS pickguard. A friend gave me the humbucker, all the other parts I had. It wasn’t easy to make all the soldering work at first but it eventually did.
HSS is the way to go for a Strat. Sounded great Rafael. I hope things clear up for you!

Did you have to route bigger cavity for humbucker?
