Man I hadn’t heard the original Pharaoh man theme and still my jaw dropped at 1:19 just for epic the music turned at that moment. After hearing the original theme later it was even more impressive.
Man, this is such a great remix of PharaohMan's stage theme from Megaman 4. They really outdid themselves in remixing the old NES Megaman themes for this game. Kudos :)
It needs a lot of refinement. The premise was great but execution may have faltered a bit. I think part of the problem was just how cruel the difficulty is early. First boss can literally one-shot you, second boss has a lot of attacks with almost no windup that make it hard to predict, and a lot of the further bosses have similar issues until about 2/3rds of the way through.
so I was watching Roahmmythril's playthrough of this game and I was watching this stage when I heard the part of pharaoh man's theme kick in and I was like "HOLY SHIT GO BACK!" and I kinda shouted "LISTEN TO THE MUSIC!" Just Hot damn.
I was listening to this and saying, "Yeah, pretty good theme! I like it!" Then I heard Pharaoh Man's theme from MM4 and my jaw dropped. "I LOVE THIS THEME!"
@@nighthoodlupin3500 Yeah, Ayako Saso, while not my favorite SuperSweep composer (I much prefer Hosoe, Yasui and Yack compared to Saso IMO), she is still a very good composer overall; it's just that everyone else is so good lol
This track would sound great played at a dance party.....it has that techno vibe mixed with the classic Pharaoh Man stage music. Frygoon, please make longer extensions of this epic track!!!!!
I mean, kinda? Shantae mostly follows a specific, well-known style, so it has a less personal style than something like Castlevania, which combines different styles
Poor Pharaoh Man. His Robot Master counterpart was awesome, but his Battle Network counterpart was really given the short stick. To my knowledge, this is the only canonical time MegaMan.EXE and PharaohMan.EXE fight, whereas in the first 2 games, he was relegated to secret boss. Still love this song, though.
It's debatable as to whether this is really canon in the MMBN timeline, considering it's a side-game, and is never really referred to in any of the other games. MMBN2 and 3 is understandable, but this game was in development while 4 was being made, if I remember right, and 4, 5 and 6 make no reference to this game.
Hub Pie yeah a lot of navis improve on their robot master counterparts but pharaoh is not one of them. His classic counterpart had all these mysterious powers at his disposal and what does the navi do? Summon idols and sarcophagi with various effects in them. Oh well...
Only time they fight _in the games._ *Major spoilers for the anime* here, but... If I recall correctly, Megaman got FRICKIN' DELETED by Pharaohman, forcing Lan and friends to take an episode or two to hunt down a way to restore his data! */spoilers* But yeah, the NT Warrior manga made a dork out of PharaohMan too. Robot Master Pharaoh Man is best Pharaoh Man (not including this music, of course. =^) _On a side note, poor ol' BubbleMan.EXE got a short stick too, glub glub._
@artstuff1232001 yeah, it does lol and have u noticed that the "Blazing Internet" stage is the original Fireman stage from the original NES Megaman 1 but just remixed?
I prefer We're the Robots. But yeah, this one is better than Wily's Castle 1 from MM2. Thought that doesn't mean that Wily Castle 1 sucked, mind you :)
to think that dr hikari would help the alternate universe dr wily from megaman 9 stop planned obsolesence by using pharaohman's old data in conjunction with the ruined data from shadowman exe..
+Austin Morrison Idk, I know he was a good character in the anime but apparently not here. He also appeared as a virus in MMBN2 but was called "Mole" so maybe it's not actually him
Megaman EXE: Now I got your power.
Pharaohman EXE: (punches Megaman EXE)
NET BATTLES ON MOTORCYCLES
THAT SOUNDS SILLY! COME ON, LAN. LET'S NETBATTLE WHILE BEING PERFECTLY STILL...

When I first saw this stage in a playthrough and listened to the music, my first thought was, "This is PharaohMan's stage."
Man I hadn’t heard the original Pharaoh man theme and still my jaw dropped at 1:19 just for epic the music turned at that moment. After hearing the original theme later it was even more impressive.

That's just one of the reasons why this and X Command Mission are underrated gems
Ikr? This game deserves WAY more praise and popularity than it already has. This imo was one of the best Megaman games of all time :)
@@m3gAm37aLmAnX this game is know for how bad it feels to play and how it try´s to fuse the gameplay of both series into a game in a bad way.
@@erugurara8235 I feel like with enough refinement it could be a winning combo.

I didn't play classic mega man when first getting to this in network transmission. Now I have and my mind is blown.
Growing up with the classics and hearing this remixes in network transmission where a nostalgia slap.
Same here! I remember playing the fireman stage in the first classic megaman game after playing this and hearing that stage music hit me in the feels.

oh my god so i'm not the only one to come from there? I LOVED THIS MUSIC TOO OH MY GOD JUST LISTEN IT SOUNDS SO COOL
1:20 the Mega man 4's pharaoh man's theme
I was listening to this and saying, "Yeah, pretty good theme! I like it!"

Masterfully blended in. Ayako Saso is kinda underappreciated as a composer/arranger/sampler.

I’m wondering how I didn’t get notifications for this reply thread. Damn you RUclips.
There's a remix in "Magaman Battle Power" too XD

Talk about kickass tunes.
One of my favourites.
Good times...
1:19 Who let them cook ?! This is fire
Strong Shantae vibes with this one.
1:20 Ooh, MM4 Pharaoh Man homage!
I mean, kinda? Shantae mostly follows a specific, well-known style, so it has a less personal style than something like Castlevania, which combines different styles
Labyrinth zone, eat your heart out.
This level was equally as frustrating if I recall.
I want to go play Shantae now...haha!
Do you know if the switch ones are good?
A remix of Pharoahman's Stage from Mega Man 4.
The Most epic sounding track in the whole game.
One of the best Megaman soundtracks.

He kicked ass in the Anime so, at least give him that :D

That's Pharaoh Man's Remix Music From MEGA MAN 4.
Dancing the macarena on this beat works actually perfect
when you walk into al-kharid
I love this song, but I came back now because of a certain recent Animals Crossing meme.
This song. Nostalgia routine set! Execute! 1:19 - 1:41
This remix of the Mega Man 4 Pharaoh Man stage music needs 30-minute, 1-hour and 10-hour extensions!!!! Please make it so.......
whatever happened to the dancing twilight sparkle with this music a few years back?
like Meir Ariel said: We've made it through Pharaoh, we'll make it through this too.
i've made it through PharaohMan, i'll make it through this too
I liked how capcom brought the those purple spike things in this stage.
@artstuff1232001 yeah, it does lol and have u noticed that the "Blazing Internet" stage is the original Fireman stage from the original NES Megaman 1 but just remixed?
MegaMan.EXE vs Yami Yugi!
BATTLE START!
I summon Pharaoh man.EXE! Attack 2800 Defense 2700
+Austin Morrison And 1000 HP. (Which is max health for Megaman . EXE to have BTW.)
I summon the exodia infinite point yugi wins
I prefer We're the Robots. But yeah, this one is better than Wily's Castle 1 from MM2. Thought that doesn't mean that Wily Castle 1 sucked, mind you :)
Lan: Battle routine, set!
MegaMan: Execute!
Yami Yugi: Heart of the cards, guide me!
It's time to du du du du duel
can someone add an extended version of this music
0:51: Theme of Shantae.EXE
Tikal the Echidna, Blaze the Cat and Shantae vs. Pharaoh Man
Basically, Yu Gi Oh meets Mario Kart.
Megaman Fans from NT Warrior went to his stage and beat him hardly after watching episode 21
to think that dr hikari would help the alternate universe dr wily from megaman 9 stop planned obsolesence by using pharaohman's old data in conjunction with the ruined data from shadowman exe..
DoT= Damage over time..... like those little coffin things
Pharaohman: King of Navis vs Gilgamesh: King of Heroes-Who would win?
Hmm, not a bad pair
If someone makes a Camel by Camel/Ankha Meme joke I SWEAR TO GOD-
Duel Monsters and Net Battles.
best part 1:03-1:40
Whatever happened to the twilight sparkle dancing video?
Walk like an egyptian. Well, someone had to make that joke eventually
...A what now?
PharaohMan was such an easy boss, only took about 10 charge shots
Both this version and it's its original are great. very enjoyable.
only boss with a DoT
Qatar 2022 theme
Bloody Ankha meme
Naw this doesn't sound like it could fit in Street Fighter EX or anything
That fucking popup chip
Meh, it was kind of annoying but really easy nonetheless. At least you get a Recov300 chip out of it :)
But why do you have to fight Rush to get it? Isn't he a good guy?
+Austin Morrison Idk, I know he was a good character in the anime but apparently not here. He also appeared as a virus in MMBN2 but was called "Mole" so maybe it's not actually him
+m3gAm37aLmAnX yeah. I think that's it
