I have been following Franchise & A Ward since this battle and I have gone back to older battles for both of them they have both gone a long way and both have a lot more potential... But let me tell you A Ward was good then but has gotten so much better!! He is one of the best new guys that has come out in the last few years his battles are All 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and he always brings 3 solid rounds! He either wins his battles or has a classic he never gets beat and he definitely is not getting Killed by Anybody, and that goes for Any League!

I have A-Ward 2-1. His delivery was cleaner. Franchise slipped up towards the end of the 3rd. It wasn't as much of a classic as some other battles I've seen, but both MCs definitely brought it. It was Franchise's energy vs. A-Ward's charisma. If Franchise would've delivered his bars better in the 3rd, I probably would've given it to Franchise. Dope battle.

Good to see Franchise being a little, and I mean, A LITTLE less one dimensional. Still gave the battle to A.WARD 2-1 and I gave Franchise the second round cause he was a bit more creative. Crowd seemed to gas Franchise too... That Westbrook bar was CRAZY!!

DOPE to see this get the Main Page love. Franchise arguably took every round, he had haymakers in that shut the room down. But A.ward had enough memorable quotes to make an argument for him every round too. GZ and the fans won on this.

I think Franchise really attacked A ward in the first, bringing a whole lot of energy combined with some great haymakers, and then edged the second as well. Taking nothing away from A ward; he is fantastic. They both have great futures ahead of them.
Also, for anyone people saying Franchise is all gas; He is captivating live, and brings a crazy energy to the room. You wont understand until you see him in real life HD.

Kotd commenters always seem to condemn the rapper because of the content (its actually usually because theu come into the battle knowing who they want to win) rather than the actual creativity of the punches.
