Put the numbers in ktc for the thumbnail trade and it came out fair value. What would be your guys advice on using calculator tools to justify trades that you see as clearly lopsided
I think calculators are like training wheels on a bike. They’ll help you when you don’t know what you’re doing but you have to take em off eventually. In all seriousness though, they tell you value in a vacuum but roster construction, strategy, personal ranks, etc all can change a trade or a value of a player so calculators just aren’t a great option most of the time.
I made a Mahomes/ Lawrence trade a couple of weeks ago in my 10 team ppr Superflex 😂 I traded Lawrence, the 3.07, 2025 3rd, and the 1.05 I got Mahomes and the 1.08 back The guy trading Mahomes got Lawrence, Shakir, and both 3rds The third team traded Shakir and the 1.08 for the 1.05
@@TheLeagueFFB after that I ended up packaging the 1.08 and Jordan Addison for Trey McBride and the 1.10. I also hold the 1.03. Fantasy football trade value especially in dynasty often gets used incorrectly when evaluating real-life NFL QB performance. They are not one in the same....
It’s so ridiculous. On one hand you say you won’t sell a rookie until you see them play, but when you see a rookie like Puka play and what he did it’s still not good enough. Make it make sense please
I couldn’t agree more. If Puka was a 1st round pick, he would be ahead of Chase and in the convo with JJ and CD. They will forever be stuck on draft capital and ignore that outliers do exist. People did the same thing with Amon-Ra and honestly he still doesn’t get the respect he should because he was a 4th rounder.
What do you think of this trade? 1.07 & 1.10 for Henry, ETN, & 2.06? I have the picks but my team is dope. Weakest part are my RBs. Mostert, Rhomondre, Warren, Pierce and Ford.
I need real help here. Im in big time rebuild with a crap team but have 1.3, 1.4, 1.9, 2.2, 2.9, 3.2, 3.3. What would you give up for MHJ? Ive had an offer for 1.3 amd 1.4 but is that too much?
@@TheLeagueFFB That's what I was thinking. I might just go Rome Nabers. I do have some good youth in Puka, Jordan love, Purdy and George Pickenss, but honestly that's all the team has. No rbs really and no te at all. Tempted to go after Bowers but I don't know if I can pass on Nabers and Rome.
Take your shots. Don't package all that value for a player just because you are hyped. Rebuilding is a lot easier to accomplish with more picks. If Nabers and Odunze each only end up one tier below what Harrison becomes, you still have a better roster for rebuilding. Take the chance that one of them ends up on the same level instead of risking one guy. The hype gets the best of us sometimes.
@TheLeagueFFB I would have Chase, Lamb, JJ, ARSB, Puka, MHJ, Wilson. I look at Dynasty in 2 to 3 yr windows and if I'm trying to win a Chip in the next 2 years I wouldn't trade Puka who has produced a Top 5 season for MHJ who yr 1 projects around 1k yds and 5 TDs
Alright I took your advice....I trade Puka and a 25 1st for MHJ and Estime. I have Kyler for the stack now and I have insurance for Javonte with Estime
The last trade was mine. I will for sure update you how this looks after some time. My thoughts behind it were I took over an orphan that was last in the league multiple years in a row in scoring. I have the 1.02 1.10 and 2.02. So I can build through WRs and a superstar qb while getting a qb 2 in a similar scoring range to Bryce young. Also rolling with engram at TE who finished in the top 5 twice in scoring. This team was bad bad when I took over really had to consolidate down to high end assets, and I was not ready for an RB like Gibbs to be on this roster.
@@TheLeagueFFBIf by "hot take" you mean it sounds like some insane ish that Nick Wright would say, then... Yes. Not trying to debate or anything. Just making sure I heard that right
@boredumb11 maybe we are against consensus here but I find it hard to believe most of the community would find Stafford at 36 years old the more talented of the two QBs.
@@TheLeagueFFBanyone who knows ball knows Stafford is better than Kyler, especially as a passer. But for dynasty I’d feel safer with Kyler being the QB attached to my WR1 on my dynasty team
You guys nailed it in the A Rich and Herbert trade. I'm rebuilding and want a safe QB in Herbert, and Mallet is going for the chip, so he wants the Upside of A Rich.
Y’all so disrespectful to Puka lmaoo. Dude just had the best rookie WR season EVER. Y’all did the same thing with Amon-Ra. Also, Kyler is NOT even close to better than Stafford😂 fantasy production does not equal real life value on the football field
@@TheLeagueFFB Ya'll were referring to the guy throwing the ball to these guys. Respectfully, I think people would much rather have Stafford chucking it to Marv than Kyler. Stafford as a fantasy producer alone doesn't come close to Kyler, so that isn't much of a debate
Love it. Especially when talking dynasty. Stafford being connected to Puka is not as valuable as the Marv-Kyler pairing. Marv and Kyler coule be together like the next Burrow and Chase longevity-wise looking forward. Stafford adds more uncertainty with the Rams' situation. On top of this, Marv as a prospect vs. Puka. Yes, Puka popped off last year and demonstrated the ability to produce. Which is why he's labeled as a top 7 WR typically in dynasty. But sustained production is value as well. I will bet on the better prospect for that. I mean, as an example, Cooper Kupp has his insane season but aside from that, he really hasn't been anything special... at all... @TheLeagueFFB
@@richardcheese9152 I beg you to go look at Cooper Kupp’s PPG by season. I think you are very much disrespecting how good he has been over his career and just fantasy in general. He’s been over 17 ppg 4 times and never been below about 14 ppg any year besides his rookie season.
