Looks amazing! Only 2 things I have changed : add a little cayenne to the honey sauce & line the tray in the grill with foil for easy clean up.

We had a rotisserie over a charcoal grill when I was growing up. You had to cover the front with foil, as it didn't come with a lid. Mom used to do chickens 2 at a time, and glaze with pineapple juice mixed with a little mustard. OMG it was so good. She did a small turkey once - best turkey ever!!

No. I love almost everything you do but rotisserie chicken does not need honey.
You should put foil below that Bird you wouldn't have to clean that stuff
Same bird for $5 at Costco .....and no mess to clean up 😅
Better yet, save yourself the money and skip the gadget. Just roast the chicken in the oven on a regular baking sheet, or even throw a wire rack under there if you really want that air circulation

You can spatchcock it and let it rest on the aromatics.
You can cook it in the Oven using the same ingredients.

Much better having the other seasonings mainly inside the chicken because it prevents the herbs from just burning on the outside before the chicken is cooked and the flavor would be different as well...not an expert lol just saying from experience.
For the foodstamp childhoods.....the seasoning are: salt, pepper, garlic, thyme and rosemary--- honey and butter season too. You people need to eat at real Restaurants.

I roast a lot with my sunday roast for the family. In goes large tomatoes, onions, parsnips, carrots, potatoes ( parboiled abd buttered and shaken first so edges are are fluffy -gives a hold crunchy edges when done) while other veggies like spinach, cabbage, brussel sprouts, runner beans etc are simmering separately in ovenproof bowls in same oven. All are done at exactly same time.all are steaming hot.lovely!
