- Thanks to Swordsman Studio, I've been given an opportunity to try out the Wandering Sword Demo in advance of it's steam Debut! And today I'm going to give you my first impressions, and the tips and tricks you'll NEED to know to survive the demo! The Demo can be tricky, so I'll help you not die in Wandering Sword with this helpful guide! In this video, we're going to be talking about Wandering Sword, the new PC Demo available from Swordsman Studio. We'll be giving you a full review of the game, with our impressions, tips and tricks, and everything you need to know about it!

Lack of controller support might be a deal breaker for me, though
Yeah, controller support is apparently in the planning stages, so I'd keep an eye out for updates that implement it down the road! :)

Do you know if it's compatible with steam deck?
It is! Alex from @BacklogBattle played on his steam deck and was able to set up a controller profile that apparently worked pretty well! I'd recommend checking out his video! :)

Ugh, PC Only & no controller input, ouch!! Wish you could play Steam games on mobile devices.

Yep! That's my 13" PVM. I don't get nearly enough excuses to use it, sadly. You might see it in my review of Chrono Trigger and my Quintet Retrospective I made for Bitmap Books, But oh boy is it pretty!
Was looking forward to the "Special Info" revealed in this video. Great job explaining everything! Lots of interesting, vital information. I'll just have to wait on a console port to play it.
I like wuxia stuff, so I'm gonna be hyping responsibly with this one. If it does release for a platform I can play it on, I'll sure give it a look.

I'm still surprised that you have not played Baldur's Gate. I've been playing through Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 again. They are pretty awesome games. I'm looking forward to Baldurs Gate 3 and I wonder what your thoughts would be on it he tried it.
It supports keyboard and mouse? Great, it gets my support. Too many western rpg recently forgot to support mouse on a PC GAME and tries to make controller mandatory.
And it is not infested with denuvo like octopath traveller 2, or even the version one that was retroactively infected.
Will buy if/when this comes to Switch. Looks great

You should review this game. It is awesome, especially for wuxia fans. The story is the most interesting aspect of it although the end game left a lot to be desired.
first, i got chained echoes fron you, and is been amazing so far, now i get my next hot rpg tip. subscribing to this channel was one of my best ideas.
If the final version doesn't have controllre support then it basically means terrorists won.
Played the demo and I could only get or find 3 cultivations not much could be done to level up other than those 3 any one got more?

I like this octopath travler like graphic style, it pay tribute to retro while also still manage to feel somewhat modern.
Me too. I might get sick and tired of the style _some day,_ but for now I absolutely love the style! :)
@@SuperDerek Right, we know DQ 3 remake will use it as well, but as it is right now I still like it.

That customization looks exciting and I'm a big fan of grid-based combat. My plate's pretty full right now, but I'll check it out at some point I'm sure. If they can add controller support until then, that'd be awesome, because, while I'm sure it doesn't matter as much in a turnbased game, I still like a controller much more.
