Thank you both! What a GREAT team! Anthony has the aptitude and interest to develop lifetime skills under the guidance of a patient, supportive dad. They taught me how to do this task in a methodical, professional manner. More important that that, I witnessed a priceless example of a dad stimulating his child and providing an opportunity to learn, explore and be successful. I applaud the both of you STANDING OVATION! Thanks again!
The video changes to where your son is putting the O ring on it. I know there's No way I can get my hand by the pulley to get that 10mm bolt out.I'm going to put the Van on ramps. I'm going to have to go underneath and do it by Braille and feel it and do it. Now where I'm at it's supposed to be like 89 degrees and high humidity. THanks for this Video. You are teaching your son, well.
Good job! I was very impressed by the father and son especially the son. He will grow up to know what’s wrong with cars just by listening to it which is great. I have a 2006 Honda Pilot which was exactly the same set up with the vehicle in this video and had no problems doing exactly what Anthony was doing. Can’t believe a set of less than $10 O rings did the trick. So happy that whining sound is clear! Thank you guys!
I'm glad we could be of help. I do enjoy working on cars but these cars are getting harder and harder to work on because they don't want people working on the new cars. Cars nowadays want to be dealership serviced only
Great video! Love to see this knowledge passed on! I'll add here that I'm doing this job for the second time in 12 months because I bought non-OEM rings the first time around. If you're here watching and haven't bought your parts yet, spend the extra few bucks for the OEM ones as this video shows!
Father and son... What a blessing honestly 🙏🏼 Do remember one thing though brother, especially being such a young age, make sure he uses gloves and protects himself from all the chemicals involved in mechanic work... God bless you and your family 🙏🏼👍🏼🙂
Buen trabajo el de Anthony ! Me impresiona su excelente video y me ha ayudado a resolver el problema de mi van Odissey 2004. Muchas gracias Antony por este tan buen video ! Saludos desde Guatemala C.A. 🇬🇹
Question: I took the two bolts off the top one (3.0 v6 accord 2004 w/ identical set up) but I couldn’t separate the metal piece like he was able to. I pulled on it decently hard and it just kind of wobbles back and fourth. I really need to take care of this, so any advice is appreciated. I just swapped out 4 hoses, one down by the front bumper which was a POS and make sure to not skimp and get sunsong China brand. Other 3 were rein brand and fit beautiful. This one was 3/4” too short.
Can a smart person help me understand how changing out all rings took away the growling grinding sound? And looking up a pump seal kit, online it shows 6 rings and gaskets. Advisable to replace all of them or just the two shown?
Thank you for the comment. I purchase it Off of eBay from a honda dealership. That dealer is not selling them on eBay anymore. But there are other o rings on sale on eBay
Replaced both O-Rings and noise was gone immediately, I didn't even need to bleed out the air, amazing. Before it would whine and foam up I have a 2000 Honda accord v6 and it was very tough removing that 10mm lower section. I had to move the alternator wire and remove the hose but still it was hard to get to the nut. I found out that using a flat spanner wrench, SUPER THIN and small, with it I was able to easily get in there and open it. My flex wrench would not work the head was too big, so a flat wrench or a stubby wrench is absolutely necessary. Ive heard an offset wrench or curved wrench can work too
Next, Anthony will perform a complete timing belt job, including new water pump and new front engine motor mount! Aren't Honda J-series engines awesome to work on? "You betcha!" sez Anthony.
Great job teaching your son how to work on cars. Excellent video.

Now that's a comment from Rick James I wasn't expecting. I though Rick James was rich, b!+#% Why are you buying knockoff o rings?

Would you say this is the best place to start if you are losing fluid and hearing a whining?
I would look for leaking To help determine where it's coming from.
Good job guys
Thanks
Great job. By any chance, can you give me the part number for the rings
What did you used to 10 mm wrench for
We’re having trouble what’s the 10 mm wrench to get the bottom hose off
Hello I Just used a normal racket with a regular socket as you can see in the video maybe your Vechile would need a wobble socket extension bar.
It’s for the bottom hose the low pressure one with the orange O-ring we tried a 10 mm wrench and we were having trouble getting it off
Did you try wobble socket,to get to the hard ones
great job
Thank you 🙂
This is just great 👍
Thank you
The bottom hose is what we’re having trouble with
Excelente. Gracias.
Excellent. Thank you.
Thank you
Great job kid
Thank you 😊
I hope you enjoyed the video this video is not sponsored
Thanks fellas!

Hello I only replacement the 2 rings and added the fluids and all nosie want away, I am not sure why
It’s under pressure and when an o-ring is worn out, it causes air to leake in sometimes without even leaking liquid.
Awesome!!! 💪
Thank you
Nice job... is the process same for 2012 Honda Odyssey? And link to buy the o-rings please
.
Thank you for the comment. I purchase it Off of eBay from a honda dealership. That dealer is not selling them on eBay anymore. But there are other o rings on sale on eBay
did you have to flush out the power sterring fluid before doing the job?
No I did not.
Replaced both O-Rings and noise was gone immediately, I didn't even need to bleed out the air, amazing. Before it would whine and foam up

Thank you for taking time out of your day to comment 😊
Cool
I see what we need a 10 mm stubby wrench
Can I borrow the kid this afternoon?!!!
Sorry
I used this parts
Great video, the only thing, is the kid should be wearing gloves as oil does cause cancer and why risk it.
Thank you & thank you for reminding us, we will next time
Yeeeaaa. Your pump is shot plus flush the lines with new fluid.
