I'm the eldest and my siblings didn't like hugs when we were younger, but I've gotten them used to it over the years. 😄 (not by forcing anything on them! I always ask if I can hug them, they just almost always say yes nowadays 😊)

Depends on how you get along with family, some family members don't get on well with each other and it's fine, they won't see each other for a very long time, and probably for the best. For the ones that get along though I agree, it's pretty sad.
