Might be that some other parts need replacemen in your case. Recently CDI in my bike went bad, which caused starting issues and irregular idle rpms, so initially I tried adjusting air fuel ratio, but it was futile. Finally I replaced CDI and everything went back to normal.

Tata Exide Lead Battery was spoilt. Factory fitted. 😑 didn't even last 3 years! ₹1700 on that via exchange. 3. Purchased a NightEye H4 from Karol Bagh last year. It was great. Sadly, it melted my headlight housing. ₹1700. 4. Using LiquiMoly 10W/40 Scooter. 6500 KmS done. Next bottle is also the same. Fully synthetic. 5. Aprilia SR 150 ABS. Nov '19 purchase. 26750 kms done. Mileage is 34. I generally run lean. Time to run rich fuel mixtures? 155.8 CC 💡 6. I also use XP 95. Sometimes XP 100 as well. Pricing at ₹135 would be better. Not ₹160 7. Using OSRAM Silverstar now. SUPERB H4 HALO. The jerk actually wasn't a power loss. I think I should drive with a higher fuel to air ratio with XP 95. Service due soon. Engine oil and everything will be done. Mechanically perfect! Superb on the highway and for bad roads. 🐉 also. What do I do ? New headlight housing at ₹1700. Next service will cost another ₹1000. Bulb? For batteries I feel that amaron are best, their warranty policy is also good, just got mine replaced under warranty. You can buy some H4 LED retrofit LED bulbs from osram or Philips, they are rated at 17 watts, provide good enough illumination and won't met your reflector, but they are pretty expensive! These: amzn.to/3AEmxLC Even crappiest engine oil won't give this loss of power at a particular rpm but your engine oil is good anyway. Why not use the factory setting for the carburetor? That's the best in most of the cases. We just can't extract better mileage or power from these engines because companies have designed them so. And in your case, I feel your fuel ratio is too lean?

@@shivvashishthabhargava4600 Headlights melt when you use a halogen bulb with higher wattage than what comes fitted with the vehicle. LED retrofit bulbs don't melt reflectors at all, and if you use a better quality halogen bulb of same wattage like osram silver star then too your reflector will not melt. You can use any bulb that's of same wattage or lower than what comes fitted from the company, it won't stress battery or magneto coil either. Right now I use osram silver star 35w HS1 halogen, and may upgrade to 25W LED H4 bulb when I have extra cash.

Full open karne pe screw bahar nikal jayega aur fuel itna zyaada ho jayega ki engine start hi nahi hoga. Beech ki setting pe rakho, 4-5 km ki mileage ke liye kanjoosi mat karo nahi toh piston rings jaldi ghis jayenge.

Sir...My bike pulsar 180 increases rpm even after 6 full turn anticlockwise....The bike has run 23k kms.....What should i do....Will it be too rich if I keep at 6 full turns???
6 turns anti clockwise seems too rich (at least for me because in my bike pulsar 135 2 turn anti clockwise on carburetor screw is perfect setting). Does engine turn off after fully screwing in the fuel ratio screw? If not then there is fuel leakage in carburetor and you'll need to correct it. Otherwise check CDI for irregular rpms, because my issue of irregular rpms was solved after changing CDI and this part is really tough to check!

Kai baar kuch zyaada hi lean set karti hai companies toh baadmein thoda rich karna padta hai taaki starting issues na aaye. Ab iska matlab yeh nahi ki total 10 turns hai toh company 5 turns kholke degi, AF screw aise nahi kaam karta, but beech mein theek se balance karti hai.

Bro my ns160 bs4 idle rpm goes down from 1600 to 1100 rpm after running bike for 10-12 kms, till 5kms it works fine. The afr screw is set at 5.5 turns. What could be the possible reason ? If you know the default no. of turns pls do let me know.

Kick shaft badalne ke liye clutch cover to khulega, lekin chinta ki baat nahi hai poora engine nahi khulega. Bina clutch cover khole shaft badalna impossible hai. Shaft ke saath saath oil seal zaroor badal lena!
I have a query, my bike has a weird behavior where if i pull my throttle even once, almost halfway and let off, my idle goes from 1.4k rpm default to 3k and stays there until i put it in gear and let off the clutch lightly and pull again, it goes to normal again but when i give it a little throttle again, same thing. It also goes back to normal when i rotate the throttle screw a little but that just adds to the hassle
The mechanic who checked it before said my piston(?) is scratched up? Is that the issue? My bike is a suzuki and they dont sell parts unless i get them fixed in their workshop so im looking for solutions that can be done on hand without replacement parts if necessary but let me know if i do need to change them
This sticky rpm issue happened with me long back when I serviced my carburetor. It went away after servicing and it is caused by carburetor in most of the cases, though missing, starting issues and irregular idle RPM can be caused by CDI fault too (this too happened with me last month, after replacing CDI irregular idle RPM and starting issues were solved. I even tried adjusting fuel ratio, but engine at times ran fine, sometimes kept dying). Bad electronics can cause regular or irregular issues, but mechanical faults cause mostly regular issues, i.e. issues that don't change and are always present. If you haven't serviced carburetor within 10,000 km then you should clean and inspect it first, then check other stuff. I hope that you have already checked obvious things like spark plugs, their caps and ignition coil cables for loose connections, though your issue doesn't relate to this but it is best to start with easiest things first. Nah, piston wouldn't cause this sticky RPM issue. These company guys avoid selling parts and want us to turn in our vehicles so that they can repair them. Even Bajaj service centers are alike.

Bro shocks ki bohot hi barreeki se companies tuning karti hai, so mujhe doubt hai ki kisi aur bike ka lagake aapko zyaada acha experience milega. Mera weight 65 kg hai, tab bhi 2 no. ki setting pe soft lagte hai mujhe. Waise bhi ek side ka rear shock leak kar gaya hai meri bike ka, toh thode samay mein replace karoonga. Banayenge bhai is cheez pe bhi video kisi din.

Air fuel ratio ke saath saath idle rpm screw ko bhi adjust karna padta hai thoda bohot. Heating issues engine ke aur karano se ho sakte hai. Aapki bike ki repairing history mujhe nahi pata isiliye zyaada kuch nahi kaha jaa sakta.

Agar caburetor ache se check kar liya hai aur spark plugs, coils, cdi jaise related parts bhi dekh liye ki theek hai toh fir naya carburetor badalke dekhlo. Ek baat ka dyaan rakhna ki ghise hue piston rings aur leaking valves ke karan bhi mileage kam milti hai.

Even crappiest engine oil won't give this loss of power at a particular rpm but your engine oil is good anyway.
Why not use the factory setting for the carburetor? That's the best in most of the cases. We just can't extract better mileage or power from these engines because companies have designed them so. And in your case, I feel your fuel ratio is too lean?

@@shivvashishthabhargava4600 Headlights melt when you use a halogen bulb with higher wattage than what comes fitted with the vehicle. LED retrofit bulbs don't melt reflectors at all, and if you use a better quality halogen bulb of same wattage like osram silver star then too your reflector will not melt. You can use any bulb that's of same wattage or lower than what comes fitted from the company, it won't stress battery or magneto coil either.
Right now I use osram silver star 35w HS1 halogen, and may upgrade to 25W LED H4 bulb when I have extra cash.

6 turns anti clockwise seems too rich (at least for me because in my bike pulsar 135 2 turn anti clockwise on carburetor screw is perfect setting). Does engine turn off after fully screwing in the fuel ratio screw? If not then there is fuel leakage in carburetor and you'll need to correct it. Otherwise check CDI for irregular rpms, because my issue of irregular rpms was solved after changing CDI and this part is really tough to check!

Fuel tank jaisa bada aur costly part toh koi bhi shopkeeper ya service center se mil jayega aapko, and genuine shops to 10-20% ka discount bhi de degi MRP pe isiliye offline lena better hai use. 99rpm se kam rates ki mushkil se milne waale cheese lena zyaada sahi hai, jaise gaskets, o rings, nuts ya bolts, kyonki kabhi kabhi yeh log package deliver bhi nahi karte, jabki paise poore advance mein lelete hai.

Kick shaft badalne ke liye clutch cover to khulega, lekin chinta ki baat nahi hai poora engine nahi khulega. Bina clutch cover khole shaft badalna impossible hai. Shaft ke saath saath oil seal zaroor badal lena!
I have a query, my bike has a weird behavior where if i pull my throttle even once, almost halfway and let off, my idle goes from 1.4k rpm default to 3k and stays there until i put it in gear and let off the clutch lightly and pull again, it goes to normal again but when i give it a little throttle again, same thing. It also goes back to normal when i rotate the throttle screw a little but that just adds to the hassle
The mechanic who checked it before said my piston(?) is scratched up? Is that the issue? My bike is a suzuki and they dont sell parts unless i get them fixed in their workshop so im looking for solutions that can be done on hand without replacement parts if necessary but let me know if i do need to change them
This sticky rpm issue happened with me long back when I serviced my carburetor. It went away after servicing and it is caused by carburetor in most of the cases, though missing, starting issues and irregular idle RPM can be caused by CDI fault too (this too happened with me last month, after replacing CDI irregular idle RPM and starting issues were solved. I even tried adjusting fuel ratio, but engine at times ran fine, sometimes kept dying).
Bad electronics can cause regular or irregular issues, but mechanical faults cause mostly regular issues, i.e. issues that don't change and are always present.
If you haven't serviced carburetor within 10,000 km then you should clean and inspect it first, then check other stuff. I hope that you have already checked obvious things like spark plugs, their caps and ignition coil cables for loose connections, though your issue doesn't relate to this but it is best to start with easiest things first.

Bro shocks ki bohot hi barreeki se companies tuning karti hai, so mujhe doubt hai ki kisi aur bike ka lagake aapko zyaada acha experience milega. Mera weight 65 kg hai, tab bhi 2 no. ki setting pe soft lagte hai mujhe. Waise bhi ek side ka rear shock leak kar gaya hai meri bike ka, toh thode samay mein replace karoonga. As long as your bike has a carburetor, these this will work. For fuel injected bikes you simply can't adjust the fuel ratio manually.

In bs3 version of ns200 they didn't provide fuel injection system that time, now for bs6 version they give fuel injection

Air fuel ratio ke saath saath idle rpm screw ko bhi adjust karna padta hai thoda bohot. Heating issues engine ke aur karano se ho sakte hai. Aapki bike ki repairing history mujhe nahi pata isiliye zyaada kuch nahi kaha jaa sakta.
