Such a beautiful place!! Snow makes anywhere look magical
hiking in the snowshoes looks really fun
I wanna move there so bad!!!!!
It's a great place to live if you can handle Winter. Where are you based now? The main struggle with moving to this area is finding a job that pays well enough to afford to live here. If you work remotely it's ideal. :)
Great adventure video, liked it!!👍😁
I'm so ready for winter here in Italy!!!!
C/t
Gosh, now I kinda miss winter season. The final blooper was cute. 😄
Thanks Alexandra
WOW! ALL THAT SNOW!!! wish we got snow like that in our mountains out here! funny how snow always looks beautiful on screen until I have to be there, then i'm like "forget this! it's too cold!" LOL love the bloopers lol ~sara ct
Haha, the snow is great but if it's a windy day then I'm not having so much fun. It's that frigid wind that will get ya every time. ;p
Looks like quite the adventure. I've never gotten around to snowshoeing but it seems like a great winter activity.
It's very peaceful for sure. Skiing is my preference, but snow shoeing is great!
Oh man, I would seriously suck in the cold! 6 degrees f?! EEK! Snowshoeing does look fun and the wilderness you travelled through is gorgeous! I love how the huge clumps of snow stays on the trees, if that makes sense. That isn't the best description of it, I'm sure! 😂
Yes, we call that flocking and it is absolutely gorgeous! Haha, it was super cold that day, but once we got going I actually took my mittens and hat off for a bit.
WOW this looks amazing! We haven't been to Glacier yet but this looks right up our alley. The conditions looks amazing too... even if it was frigid! lol
Haha, once we got bundled up and moving it wasn't too bad. I actually took my gloves off for a bit. Have you guys been to Glacier National Park before?
Wow all that snow! I have never been in that kind of snow, my kids would love to experience something like that. You're bloopers were hilarious. c/t
Yeah, our girls love it! Do you guys get any snow?
Looks so cold! We are going to Finland in a few weeks so this video reminded me about layering! Haha! It looks so beautiful up there! Definitely a winter wonderland! G3 c/t
Oooh, have fun in Finland. Can't wait to see the vids :)
Love getting outside on a nice winter day for some snowshoeing! We have a trail that goes right off our backyard that we use. Lots of fun and great exercise. c/t
That's great, I would love a trail right out my back door!!! Any snow yet this year?
@@RadiantRealty we had snow early this year, but it's now pretty much gone again. Here in Nova Scotia our snow rarely stays this time of year. Typically mid Dec on we'll start seeing some staying around. But you never know. Last year, we didn't get any snow until Jan, and even then it didn't really stay around long.
So, so much snow! Oh wow, not sure I would be able to cope haha
Haha, it's a lot easier if you play in it. Ski, Snowboard, Snowshoe, Cross Country, Snowmobile....so many options :)
Oh wow! This is spectacular!!
Thanks. Ready to leave the palm trees and come visit???
I think we'll just hang on to the tropical beaches for a bit lol!
Haha, if you must ;p
i've done snowboarding and skiing and sledding on snow but never snowshoe. I reckon getting inside that toilet is hardwork. Hahaha.Oh man, that view is amazing. Must have been an amazing experience and adventure.
Haha, we never were able to get in. Too much snow piled up. :O You should come visit and ski or snowboard. Where do you normally go?
@@RadiantRealty I've done snowboarding when I visited Canada. I've done it in Mount Tremblont. And now here in NZ, i usually travel to the mountains. But next time, I'll try snowshoe.
wonderful !!!!
I am so jealous of all the snow! We didnt get any this year in Arkansas.Glacier National Park looks beautiful!
We've had so much this year. It's beautiful. Glacier should def be on your bucket list. Enjoyed your Q&A. Have you decided where you're moving yet???
I spent 5 days in the back country at glacier in December 2016, setting up and taking down camp everyday, was the best vacation I ever had. Loved every second of it. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who appreciates what winter can offer.
Winter is gorgeous if you can dress properly for it. Wow, I don't even know if I could back country camp in Winter though. What was your setup? A definite perk of Winter is having the park to yourself ;p
Hi there greetings from SW MT .....yep always let someone know where you are going.. looked like good times.....it was still sub zero every morning here along the gallatin until a few days ago but not the last couple of days.... its melting fast in today's sunshine....and the raptors are back in numbers I saw 7 bald eagles this morning including on I can see from my desk and tons of hawks and owls...i'm heading over to the Upper Shields valley tomorrow to do some ski touring in the north west Crazies.... and wildlife viewing.... my goal is to photo some mountain lions in one of my go to spots for cats......I kinda hate to see winter begin to relinquish its tight hold....but then then my inner horticulturalist and range scientist starts to yearn for the green up to come....but hopefully not quite yet...
Spoken like a true Montanan. I love your spirit Jim. There are definitely wonderful features of every season. I hope you have a long range lens for those mountain lions. That sounds amazing!!! I love seeing the bald eagles around. They are beautiful. Have a great week!!!
What a cool experience. We love to go hiking with snowshoes. 👍👍
Nah pal, that's way too cold for me 😂 So beautiful though!!!
Haha, we actually got hot during the hike and I took my gloves off for a bit. Those layers work well!
One of my favorite if not my favorite national park. It will never get old and I really want to go in the winter because I would love to see all the snow. Great layers hope you stayed warm! Looks like even with the cold it was worth it
We actually got so warm we were taking our gloves off part of the time. Crazy! If you come visit send me a message. Would be fun to colab :) Def worth a winter visit. Do you ski or snowboard?
I love snow!!!!! Reminds me of home in Minnesota
Look s like a lot of fun! The whole place looks so beautiful and peaceful
That is a lot of snow! it looks awsome girls! cool vlog!
Wow, looks magical there! Great video! Just found your channel, we are travel vloggers also. subbed🙂
Thanks so much for saying hi. Just subbed to yours as well. Excited to check out your vids!!! Have you been to Montana before? Since you're travel bloggers, what's your all time favorite destination location so far?
Not yet but would love to, it looks so beautiful! That's a tough question! It's probably split between the beauty of the Pacific Coast Highway or the Mayhem of Bangkok. How about yourself?🙂
Haven't been to Bangkok yet. Asia in general is still a big checklist item. We are partial to Italy...but we also loved Amsterdam and the countryside in the Netherlands. Cape Town and South African Safari were pretty great too. It's so hard to compare. But, hands down as a family Italy has a special place in our hearts.
We love Italy! All that History and great food! South Africa must have been really interesting!🙂
lovely.....hopefully we got snow here in Brussels⛄❤
It's crazy to see so much snow at Glacier! We were there in July. Did you try making fresh tracks with your snowshoes? ;-D c/t
Haha, yup. It was much easier to travel the path already taken ;p
But where's the fun in that? 😂😉
Just found your channel! I️ look forward to your next videos ❤️❤️
Always remember that this is the Glacier National Park showcased by National Geographic in 2012 as "melting away," due to co2. Look for yourself. Does it appear to be melting away? Or does it look like National Geographic was playing a con game?
A person can ice skate on frozen lakes, at Glacier National amidst a background of snowless hillsides. Plus, it takes weeks for the snow plowing to get completed. Does that look like "melting away?"
Patrick, I didn't see the episode you're referencing, however I imagine they were speaking of the glaciers themselves which are in fact disappearing. Either way, it's a beautiful park and one that I love dearly. Have you been?
looks so beautiful! but i think i will freeze :0 good idea to bring coffee with you c/t
Great video, does the park offer snowshoe tours? Driving up next week by myself but would love to return mid winter for a snowshoe adventure but with my schedule I’m usually solo
Yes, looks like mid January - March from Apgar. You can view the deets at this link www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/ranger-led-activities.htm :)
