Today, we're installing the all-new Falcon Display by BayernMods! on BMW X6 E71, this installation guide is exactly the same for BMW X5 E70.
The Falcon Display is the perfect solution that enables you to upgrade that small screen to this 10.25 inch. This touch screen display will allow you to use any variation apps from Google Play Store, such as Google Maps, Waze, Tomtom GO, and many more. RUclips, Netflix, SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are also available with additional dongle we sell on our website.

Cheers mate had this unit fitted for a week and other than thw the little speaker no sound , I've watched loads of videos showing how to fit it but couldn't find where I was going wrong untill I watched your video and realized right away I'd been plugin the aux in the wrong plug , thanks very much

Installing the GPS antenna in that position does it work ok? Somebody told me that is necessary to install it outside the console to get proper signal...
Does it work navigation on head up display?
I need your help my friend, I have no sound coming from android unit . I routed aux cord to the glove compartment but no sound.
Do I test it by removing the aux extension from glove compartment and reconnect male and female aux on the android harness?
Thank you for the detailed instructions, but the original camera in the CCC navigation does not work for me. How to connect it?
Can you still the access the bmw settings/informations such as your oil level, tire pressure, when there's in issue with the car etc?
Can you show how to connect aux from the car to the headunit please ? Does that means you can connect phone to head unit via Bluetooth and play music?
The unit is Android 10, do you not have one with Android 12? Also, do you sell the GPS splitter cable and the host car Mic connection loom separately or do they come with the unit?
Do you still have the normal screen functions? And can you still play dvds through the cd?
What model is this 2GB ram, 4 or 6? Is there any real difference between the models performance wise, Lag,etc?

Can anyone with this installed tell me if the audio needs to go through the aux as this sounds to be bit of a low quality work around.

Ordered for E71, carplay not working and customer service went dead after receiving unit.. also, is there video for rear camera install?
I installed ‼️ on my bmw [E70] X5 .. everything works perfect except the original car info display .. it keeps saying put CD in aux mode and does not work is this a software issue with the after maket android unit or a wiring mistake on my part ⁉️

why you use aux cable and big chinese plug connector? code out one more aux from the car...sound will be much better

Do the original cameras work with this. The ones in mirrors and rear boot panel for birds eye view and rear view or does it need more cameras from the unit ?
No birds eye cameras still work or you can set to other fitted cameras
Is the head unit above that your installing is it a ccc system or CIC ?

Why do i only get sounds from the CIC system and no audio from the carplay or android auto?
Hi can't you just connect phone with Bluetooth then you won't have to plug the aux to play music ? Fitting this on my x6 soon

Hi, the quality of the sound is better than the unit installation. For some cars, you will need to AUX for some no.
Please HELP! I installed my CCC version and everything but original menu, radio, cd, bordcomputer, backup camera nothing is not showing! Only Android side showing fine. Audio works fine from Android and CD and Radio.

Main problem is that android sucks.
I would install 10/12 inch monitor on CIC if a had this option.

Don't do it. The unit is not what you think. WiFi only works with your phone, so does Maps. It is not a true Android 12 unit. Not all of your Idrive buttons work all of the time. Screen/font settings don't work and their support is a joke, as are their manuals. There is no online support center.
Your Display is not god quality its look like a mirror
