最近、X-Japanの曲をよく聴くようになりました。hideさんの葬儀が私の息子が1歳の誕生日だったので今でも鮮明に覚えています。
もっと早く好きになっとけばよかったと今思っています。

やっぱり、涙が溢れる時に歌を歌うことはできない。クラシックですが歌を歌っています。涙溢れる時、心が揺さぶられらる時、歌は歌えません。toshiさんは本当にすごいです。信じられません。
最後まで歌い切ったTOSHIがすごい。私も歌を歌うものとして、ここまで思い入れが強い歌を泣かずに真っ当した事には全力の愛を感じる。それをYOSHIKIの渾身の力を引き出した。

2:30 that hug says so much. It wasn't Toshi's fault that he got dragged into a cult, it was his two-face wife at the time that tricked and manipulated him, who btw was also sleeping with the cult leader. Toshi wanted to be with Yoshiki and his brothers but feared the cult because they physically abused him and even said that they would be watching this performance. That hug was an honest and true hug between two best friends that had known each other since they were young children and it's good that Yoshiki hugged Toshi because it showed the fans and the other band mates to not hate Toshi.
You skipped the part that he had trouble with his brother (his manager/president of agency) and the mister ○○ bullying him for years and years with the nail in the coffin being know as "recording hell" from Dahlia where he was forced to endure the non ending recording that would go for dozens of hours and if his voice didn't come , he was forced to inject a shot directly into his throat so he could be a singing machine. Hopeless and no one to trust, the future wife came for him.

I literally woke up from a dream with this song this morning, and I woke up crying. XJapan got me through the roughest point of my childhood.
An old Turkish saying: An old friend never becomes an enemy. I hope one day Toshi and Yoshiki will gather and hug once again.
I still love them as much as I have loved them since the first time I heard their first song so many years ago... 💘💘💘💘

The amazing part is that they were able to play through without absolutely losing it. Yokishi and Toshi weren't just mourning the ending of their band, but the end of their friendship. As the cult that Yoshi belonged to would not have approved of them remaining in contact. You can see from the way they interacted in the better days that this entire band legitimately loved each other. Even more so between Toshi and Yoshiki. And looking back as this would be their last day spent with hide and the 10 years they lost together, it's amazing to watch.
It says Yoshiki and Hide saw each other afterwards, because they discussed to start X again with new vocalist in 2000.
@@creativebodyflying I know they spoke of forming another band with a new singer. However Hide died 5/2/1998, just 5 months after this show. He wasn't around in 2000.
Why did they break up? Cult?
The only thing i know is Hide killed himself.
@@DarthwRath Toshi, the singer got involved with a cult similar to Scientology through the woman he was dating, and eventually married. They imposed the belief on him that X Japan was satanic in nature. They also undermined his confidence in his position in the band. So Toshi announced he was leaving and Hide suggested a final concert. This was that concert. They weren't exactly on the best of terms during this show. Which is why the hug got the reaction it did and why nearly everyone was in tears.
I watch Yoshiki even today. I could be wrong but I can still see the sadness. It sometimes make me cry.

絶対ピアノが入る部分、3回。TOSHIが歌い続けてる。それになんとか答えたYOSHIKI。今日だけで20回程観た。観れば観るほど分かる。

ガキの頃はメロディだけ聴いて流してたけど今になってやっと分かるこの歌詞の意味の深さ…泣

泣かずには見れないよ。あまりにもいろんなことがあったもんね。
この歌詞の中に、「全てが終わればいい」。 という歌詞と、当時大学生だった時のツアー時 「破滅に向かって」っていう言葉がありました。
この2つの言葉が現実になってしまっているのがとても悲しいです。89年にでデビューして10年も経たずに97年で終わってしまったのは本当に悲しい。
それぞれ色んな想いがあったのに、それぞれ自分の分担をやり遂げた。
Forever Love랑 관련해서 기억에 남는 라이브가 총 다섯 개가 있음. 첫 번째가 96년 도쿄돔 공연에서의 라이브(완전 무결점 라이브, 거의 CD를 삼킨 라이브)랑 두 번째가 이거(이건 볼때마다 눈물이 남), 세 번째가 라스트 라이브 끝난 직후 홍백가합전에 가서 부른 거(토시는 공연 직후에다가 공연 내내 오열하였던 터라 목상태가 최악인 상황에, 요시키와 히데를 비롯한 나머지 멤버들은 얼굴에 혼이 나간 표정으로 핸드싱크 연주한 진짜 마지막 라이브), 그리고 네 번째가... 히데의 장례식에서 진혼곡으로 부른 가슴 아픈 라이브에(요시키의 피아노 독주에 토시의 목소리로 불렀고, 그 자리에 타이지도 와 있었음), 다섯 번째가 2008년 재결합 공연에서 어쿠스틱 버전으로 부르는데 토시가 감정이 북받쳐 목 메여서 팬들이 거의 대신 떼창으로 불러준 라이브. 쭉 나열해보니까 첫번째 거 빼고 다 눈물 나는 라이브 밖에 없네ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
forever love보다 last live에서 부른 longing이 왜그리 슬프던지... 옷도 하얗게 입어서 더 처량해보임. 저한테는 그게 최고의 라이브

가사는 외울 시간이 있었을까, 저 날 아침부터 뒤지게 처맞고 악담까지 듣고 그러고 너덜너덜해진 상태에서 도쿄돔에 가서 공연을 했다고 하는데 그럼에도 결국에 저걸 소화해낸 토시... 심지어 저 콘서트가 테레비 생중계도 해서 감시자들이 화면을 보면서 자기가 무슨 말을 하는지 무슨 행동을 하는지 다 지켜보고 돌아가서는 또 맞고 욕설과 비방과 인신공격을 무참히 받을 거라는 두려움에 떨면서 공연을 했다는... 그때 도중에 "토시!! 앞으로 뛰어가!! 뛰어나가!!"라고 히데가 외쳐줘서 기운냈다고 하는데 그게 히데와의 마지막 교신이었다고 함ㅠㅠ 그리고 공연 내내 더욱 활짝 웃으면서 더욱 오버하다시피 밝은 모습을 보인 히데가 이 노래와 공연 마지막 라이브곡이었던 을 부를 때 눈물을 보인...ㅠㅠ

As a band, I do feel that they are moved by their audience and fans continuous support even if they have their rough period and they might think that its impossible for them to reunite after the lost of their 2 band mates and for other issues they may have but things turned out differently and its for the positive. They will still continue to this, get unified and stronger after Heath's request.
How is the quality so good, this looks amazing? Is this a remaster? I'm keen to purchase the full concert event, but I want to get it at as high quality as possible. It was a phenomenal experience. Thanks for sharing this.
