Thanks bro the dealer tried to charge me 300 say I had to take the bumper off to replace the bulbs so I just save 300 bucks by watching your video I did it myself I appreciate you brother 🤲🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Perhaps not the least steps, but certainly the least trouble, is to: 1) Jack the car up on both sides until the wheels are about to lift off the ground. 2) loosen the lug nuts on one side only. Raise the wheel and remove it from the car. 3) Remove the clips from the front and top of the inner fender shield, then bend back the shield behind the rotor for clearance. 4) Reach into the fender to remove and replace the bulb(s). 5) Replace the inner fender shield and wheel. Repeat on the other side as needed
I got to get to the blinker I wanted to change all the light bulbs seems very tight over there. I should have had the engineer who design this change it 😂 Great video thank you
Can't do that on passenger side because electrical box covers it. Metal brackets are across the bottom. Extremely hard and tight for anyone unless you have child hands.
Thanks for the vid; low beam headlight relay died on my '06 and apprently isn't user servicible; hoping to jury rig the high beam connector over to the low as a temporary fix (not doing a lot of driving where I'll need my high beams anyway), and wasn't sure I could get to them without taking out the whole housing.
Yep. 1/2 the front end is missing ,,,,blue connector at end of video is high beam not the low beam that's further in toward the fender. Last time i did this I peeled back the wheel liner might have cranked the wheel to the left or removed it.
I changed my driver side low beam just the other day it was a bear.... but I managed to get my hand to the low beam I used the same technique except I couldn't see it except for a tiny little area but mostly...it was all By feel.
Left side bulb replacement, his car is wrecked so there's no cradle sheild there. So most people can't do it that easley. Just remove the air breather up top and it's right there. No laying on ground.
It's not the same, passenger side is a disaster but it's able to be done without removing the bumper. Remove the power distribution/fuse block and carefully swing it out of the way and get just enough room to reach in and swap bulbs
Should have been very informative for me, since I've not found anyone that knows how to @ Auto Stores where I've bought 3 dim bulbs now over past few mos, but you didn't show the process of getting to the bulb ??? Penney C, Tn
My mom has a 2008 Lucerne.
Been watching lots of videos after looking at this car to replace the passenger bulbs.
Insane design flaw!
Thank you! You just saved me $300 in labor from a shop wanting 2.6 hrs to drop the bumper! Thank you!!!

Yeah have him change it. Afterward, string him up by his fingernails. 😝
Thank you bro,,, you just saved me a lot of time taking out an air box...
Glad I watched this video first..
If all things on top are missing yes this is possible. Best to remove tire shield and turn wheel reach inside and remove bulb.
I took front wheel off and the wheel shroud and then I saw the low beam. If its the original bulb it will take some time wiggling it out. Be patient!

Bullshit video. There aren't any plastic shrouds on that car. With those on there you can't see anything.
Take em off 🤣

Why not show us how to do the passenger side?
Because it's the same

Thank you sir, I thought it would require dismantling the bumer and all.
Very helpful. Thanks
This is the longest two minute video of my life
love your watch dude! what make and model is it?

Thanks you your video saved me today👍
Helpful video, thanks for posting it-Cheers!!
How many pigtails are there on a 2007 buick lucerne cx?
My low beam on my passenger side wont come off. I turned it counter clockwise and I still can't get it, I'm not sure with what I want to do
Thank you
Is the other side the same way for the low beams?
I tried to look from underneath on the passenger side low beam light and couldn't even see anything
What bulb did u use
And everybody else was going underneath the car to change it😅
