I still remember from 8th grade in speech class, when we were learning how to deliver a speech effectively and UM would get points deducted from our grade if we used them. And I pay attention to anyone that does that more than once in a conversation, I absolutely can't stand to hear that, it's nothing but a time killer that most people wouldn't notice you are pausing very long if you leave the UMs out. It's not a crime to pause when speaking, sometimes you have too, you're putting your thoughts in order, she apparently can't right an opening statement well enough to have a flow going and thinks um when she's writing it. People realize you have to stop, especially in these situations and the UMs are so annoying you hardly hear anything else because that's already destroyed your nerves and patience completely. But I really thought that I can't believe she keeps doing that, has she never been told not to do that? it's unprofessional and doesn't do anything but make you sound ignorant.

Even if they have never used or touched the weapon. This prosecutor needs some help. It is a confusing and complicated case, but she sounds completely unprepared. Agreed. This attorney is one of the worst “orators” I’ve ever heard. When your JOB is to be convincing and at LEAST well-spoken, I think I would be thrown out of the courtroom for yelling “OBJECTION! I WANT PROOF THIS ATTORNEY ACTUALLY PASSED THE BAR EXAM!” Jeesh!

I truly enjoy that little “slurp/suck” sound she makes as well. It’s as if she wishes she had some chewing gum to “pop” while she’s dazzling the jury with her incredible oratory skills. Obviously she learned from some of the true masters like Abe Lincoln and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr! (NOT)

@@dejuhvu1793 You need to build up a rapport with the jury, so story telling is a vital part of being a DA/Lawyer in the court room. They should put them on a course if they are incapable of speaking loud, clear and concise - and never saying ummmm!!!

The prosecutor seems nervous and all over the place! I get it ur on national tv, but…. Lots of ummms, and not knowing where you’re going…. Honestly doesn’t seem like she knows what she’s talking about when it’s all laid out for her

Agree w all over the place but I think she needed to be more concise. She is literally giving the lay person every detail the police and lawyers know which is not needed.
