- i play terraria, but i play as the eye of cthulhu
so, i have its flight, its dash, its servants, its two phases, its hitbox - everything good and bad about the eye
weapons, armor, and accessories are a thing of the past - instead, i get my power from slaying bosses
also, master mode (for the harder boss ai)
the exact set of rules is complicated, find more details in the mod's steam page

more algo-friendly prose: in this video, i beat terraria in master mode, with a massive twist: my character is the eye of cthulhu boss, instead of a normal player. this revamps all the game's mechanics and creates a completely unique playthrough, with its own benefits and challenges. various (somewhat) clever strategies are employed to traverse the game's world in my new body, survive, and kill bosses.

Replacing Servants when you're below 50% hp with the expert+ diagonal rushes, allowing you to spam click to do them continuously would be sick. (1 stack per hit) (The rushes should pass through enemies, like how it works normally, to allow you to clear hordes and minions easier.)
Servant spawning seems like it would be really fun if your max servant cap increased by boss kills, so you could unleash a servant machine gun on bosses (additionally would buff the phase 2 diagonal dashes idea so you can rush like 17 times)

If this mod does well enough, you could eventually make a mod for every boss where you can choose any boss to be or every time you kill a boss, you can transform into it

The only thing I'd wish adding is some progression beyond just the numbers. Only dashing at enemies might get boring easily. Maybe you can add the Twins attacks? Or even a True Eye form? That'd be fun!
