I’m 58 and have just discovered track days. What was I waiting for, pure adrenaline. If you love riding at pace cant recommend enough. Couldn’t agree more about thinking your fast on the road. On my first track day (in novice) I thought I would have a tap on the shoulder asking me to move up a group. Couldn’t be further from the truth. I was all out of control on corner entry and scaring the begeezes out of myself as I was tipping in. Just bought the Gen 4 S1000RR for 2022 and going smoother, going safer and going faster. For you guys out there on the fence, just do it.
Good video, attitude and advice. A “young” 52 here and finally made it a priority to set my first novice track day with a road bike in August (Oulton is closest ~2hrs). Lookin’ forward to it!
