for some reason CLs get absolutely wrecked by a torpedo hit, destroyers suffer a mere inconvenience by a hit, and everything else varies wildly based upon anti-torp tech. Or the torps do overpen
nah they just have some crazy inbuilt resistance for some reason. Torpedoboats have the same thing. Its super obvious if you play a 1890 start, and a torpedoboat can shrug off multiple hits from the same torpedo that'll oneshot a predreadnought
Heavy cruisers with 10" guns is a common AI design. Sometimes even they look like a 'baby BB'. The second AI design you'll meet are light cruisers with 7" guns (one type) or with multiple torpedo launchers (second type). You'll hate to fight against second type of CLs because single ship can launch 10 - 14 torpedos in single attack (or 24 torpedos in two short-spanned attacks). That's why I call them 'disruptors'. If you want to stay cheap you need to design 'pocket battleship' with 11" guns in a future. CAs with 11" are very good 'snipers' and BB / BC support because they can easily engage well armed CAs and weakly armoured BCs / BBs.
The war goes well, France just lost a very expensive destroyer in the second battle and the invasion of Tonkin is about to begin. Looks like everything is progressing smoothly for the Soviet Navy and the county as a whole.
Hey Stealth, I just send in some more and updated designs. Maby you could remind everyone who dosnt know that they can send in ships/repair the ones they have send in because most on them are probably broken again.
@@Stealth17Gaming I dont think either. One reason is probably tech. In my Italy campaign which reached the year 1926 I cant yet use Oil 2. In the shared designer however I could. Its similar with early Dreadnought designs. one reason why non of them got picked is that there is no limit of 3 large guns you can use early on in the shared designs. in the campaign however there is. this leads to the AI not being able to build them. I still think it just asking people to send more increases the chances, which are now basically 0 since the update broke stuff. Just having shared designs improves the AI designs. at least that is what I have experienced. So in order to have the AI use your designs you have to predict at which year the AI has what tech. If they lack something they dont build it and if they have everything they probably dont build it since its a design from 2-3 years ago which is ""outdated"" Man, I wish this game would be developed by a larger team with more resources to reach all its potential : c
Hey Stealth! Would it be good idea to try building a battleship, which has not a lot of main power but just absurd amount of secondaries. Basically, same idea as tanks of WW1
A 3rd of your entire navy is tied up in the Asian invasion while the Mediterranean fleet is threatened by the ever increasing number of French capital ships. I think you should either build more Petrov class BBs or build a new class of cost effective invasion capital ships. I wonder if a battlecruiser hull would be cheaper than a battleship of the same tonnage and speed as Petrov?
I'm willing to bet torpedo damage is calculated via percentages, hence why destroyers can just laugh it off

23:30 "standart bulkheads" :D Bulkheads: Maximum
19:40 "I designed them off-screen"
kinda unfortunate (in my opinion), I like watching how you design the ships.
Sometimes I have to skip bits to keep the pace of the series up. Sorry I didn't show it
I’m loving this series, keep going !
Okay, that was an interesting cross between a surface ship and a submarine. Yeah, things like that need to be fixed.
13:20 AAA the brave sir Robin maneuver.😮
I would be sincerily greatful if you would record the cursor again. That would make it easyer to follow what you are doing/talking about on screen.
Ok. I've already recorded 2 more episodes so it'll be a while
thanks a bunch Sir Stealth.
19:10 travel with your transport's too sucker in the DD and sucker fire from the nasty BC.
Torps must not be arming hitting a DD. Damage is from poking 20 inch holes in the tin cans.
I swear, yo should not put antitorp measures on your battleship and just use DDs to intercept torps at this point.

I really don't think the AI uses them

Thought you forgot to schedule again... Thankfully no

Not anymore. Ship design has moved on
23:20 seen that when you turned the screen. Ya WTF. Should have creamed ya. Change the name of the DD to acme torpedoes.😅

have they fixed the ability to ask for peace yet
