Seattle is like Vancouver. So beautiful. The weather is almost the same but sometimes can get wet cold which is miserable because it feels cold touching our bones.
From someone who's been living here in the sunny Philippines. I find it really therapeutic and calming to see videos of rainfall. I wish I could visit this place someday.
Despite its numerous flaws, Seattle is a city I still hold close to my heart. Even when I moved out at age 5 I still have great memories later in life revisiting Seattle on vacation or break. I could commit war crime just to smell that crisp northern Pacific Ocean air for the rest of my life UUUGGGGGHHAAA.
My brother used to live in Seattle and I flew out there as often as possible. I grew up in NYC (still live there) and when I travel I often find myself comparing everywhere to it. Most places fall flat in comparison, but Seattle has a very unique vibe to it. Combined with the breathtaking region that it is in it truly is a special place I recommend everyone visit one day. P.S. that Whole Foods you pass in the video was where I did all my food shopping whenever I visited :)
at 05:15 there is a very positive point in Seattle that I rarely see at home in France the number of trees impress in the city center of Seattle I find so beautiful and intelligent to keep cool in summer and reduce pollution thanks to the trees in France I don't see that in most of the cities where I have lived

@@andtheywereroommates1989 Nuh, stay in Germany, move to Hamburg. Nearly the exact same Weather. I did the move to the U.S from Germany, and i did regret it ever since. Although many things in Germany seem pretty lame, as you get older you see the crap that is going on in the U.S. (Healthcare, Guns, Violence, shitty paid Jobs, etc.) Although, Seattle is in many ways better (as in progressive) than the majority of the Country.
Took this with the iPhone and walking at a normal stride rather than slowly crouch walking like in the other rain videos. Stabilization isn’t that great here at some parts compared to some previous videos.

I lived there most of my life....I'm back in Boise now. I must say I don't miss the rain and hustle and bustle. Downtown Boise is a lot smaller.Great video!!
Thanks, nice video. I am a regular visitor to this city. It's a great city, but one tends to feel lonely. You see lots of young people, but few families. Roads get empty pretty quickly by dusk. Maybe one require lots of effort to make friendship!
Watching this I can't help but be a little depressed- all i can think is what will be left of our local culture and food when this is over... our restaurants are going bankrupt, let alone our clubs/bars/music venues... I feel a deep, painful sorrow for our city...
I love to watch these videos of people walking through the streets in both Seattle and Portland, Oregon from the first person lenses of a camera as those are both places I plan on moving to one day as it gives me a more realistic idea of what it will be like to walk the streets of said cities once my move to one of them has happened. Now I am not sure yet at this point in time whether I will move to Portland or Seattle as I want to pay both places a visit first. Because all I know is I am not living in Southern Oregon for the rest of my life either way.

Hehe those are Amazon umbrellas! The company gives them out :) A LOT of people in Downtown Seattle will be seen walking with the same umbrellas because there are a lot of Amazon offices around.
I don't know where I want to go when I eventually move out (hopefully 2-5 years from now) I want to stay in MN but after recent events, maybe not. I also love snowy winters but these northern West Coast cities look really nice, I'm not sure if I want to move into an apartment here until I get enough money to move across the states and then come back home for family gatherings, or stay in MN for my life, guess I'll wait and see because Portland and Seattle look like such nice places

Not really... Right in Downtown and nearby it is expensive, yes. However, unlike New York or San Francisco, in Seattle you can still find more affordable options within a reasonable commute time. It is prettier closer to the Mountains anyway. :D
