@@urphakeandgey6308this is so true. Most progressions are insanely common. It's the lead guitar and oher stuff that matters most. At least in my opinion.
This tutorial is criminally underrated, There was like 5 extremely helpful tips in there that I should've been using once I started recording guitar into FL Studio
Quick tip - when recording your chopped sample, instead of using Edison there’s a thing in the top left drop down menu of the mixer that says render to audio or something like that. It turns all the tracks you select to record into audio files.
I like the no lag explaining of things I can't learn from people that teach slow I get bored..you packed alot of Information in one video...Nice. My new favorite beat making channel ..
I wonder how to do chord progressions like nu-metal, shoegaze and other similar genres because it is easy to chop sample when it has pauses but it seems like a different story when it flows.
When I use generic bleeding it doesn't help with my prob. I try to have everything perfectly on the line with drums but, it just makes it sound weird. Like it reverses or repeats in tiny areas. I can't really explain it
So if I get a electric guitar for fl studio does it matter which one. For example can I just get one from walmart for like 60 bucks? And I already have lots of guitar effects and vsts.
How about a guitar with distortion? Let's say for some heavy rock music, Do you record clean and add the effect after or can it be done directly with distortion?
So you need an audio interface(box looking thingy) for electric guitar, but for an acoustic, you just need a mic that is plugged into your PC? Excluding if you have an acoustic-electric.
Great video that macro purge is amazing !!! I did have a question tho when your recording into the time line and you have a loop on for each take. i can delete the audio takes by right clicking but then the audio channel is still there? Any way to mass delete those? Some times i do a-lot of takes and it’s annoying to right click each recording tab and click delete.
hey there, this was a great helpful video, do you have anything specifically on the slicing of the audio to get it perfectly in time with the little lines, thats really the only thing im still confused on. Keep at it, great video!
Hey Felix setting up the guitar was easy but I seem to have latency. I am using the focusrite 2i2 on Asio v2 . I tried lowerjng the buffer size but it only goes as low as 256. Even after that I still have some latency. I have a pretty strong laptop too. An i7 Asus g751jy. So I'm not sure what is wrong or what I need to do to fix the latency.
is there a reason why my computer doesn’t have a ASIO plug in? it’s really frustrating cause no vocals or anything gets recorded cause I don’t have the ASIO plug in. any feedback from anyone would b dope
Felix Hamilton is there anyway I can convert someone’s guitar melody to Fl studio? Example: my friend from Canada is using Cubase DAW but I’m using FL Studio DAW.
Sup Feezo - So i have my guitar hooked up to channel 1 on my scarlett, set to input 1 in FL on track 1, have my audio device settings to scarlett. I'm getting sound in my headphones from the scarlett, and turning the gain up/down changes it from green red so no problem there. However, Not getting any levels/sounds being picked up in FL what so ever. Have any advice please?
Oh above all the clips, there are 3 little icons I think, and the one to the left of the one with the line and two dots should be what you’re looking for. I hope that helps brother
On your trap beat for beginners vid when you layered the 808 with the bass it sounded good, however when i did it my audio was clipping and it sounded horrible
It could be any number of reasons. Maybe you have the volume of 1 or more sounds too loud or maybe the velocity is turned up in the piano roll on the 808
BRO IM SO LOST I JUST WANNA RECORD GUITAR I DO EVERYTHING RIGHT BUT WHEN I HIT RECORD GUITAR IT STARTS RECORDING BUT LIKE IT SPLITS INTO DIFFERENT TRACKS WHYYYYYHY
ruclips.net/video/eBTiKNk-gGY/видео.html in the description of this video brother! (If that’s the one you’re talking about lol) if not, I get most of my kits from r/drumkits or freedrumkits.net
It’s a Yamaha Pacifica I believe. I think it’s a 112j Yamaha Pacifica but I’m not totally sure. I got it for Christmas one year when I was like 11 and I’ve had it ever since
@@feezo Thank you for your response! Any other electric guitars you could recommend in a 250-300 price range for Pop/R&B Trap Music? (Khalid, Daniel Caesar type of stuff)
I’m not really much of an expert on types of guitars and stuff, but I do know that you can make a cheap guitar sound really good by having the right plugins and amps and stuff like that. I think my guitar is only around $150 but I can make it sound like any other expensive guitar with the right plugins
Hey Felix, I was wondering if you could make a tutorial on how to make an emotional juice wrld, iann dior guitar loop for beginners. Or even just a regular type guitar loop. If you could do this it’d mean so Much to me since you are my favorite youtuber and also another reason I want you to do it is 1. You are the best at explaining things, and 2. Your videos are so enjoyable to watch! I can’t even tell you how much this helped me, thanks homie
No problem bro, I’m glad I could help out 🖤
I feel like every lofi track in history has sampled that guitar progression
I think it's more that a lot of music uses the same chords.

Hi bro, you know why when i record my guitar (electric one) it sounds so much white noise? and it get worse when i use the guitar rig :(
whats the name of the box thing to connect his guitar?
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface :)
My guitar on "mono in 2", could you tell how to change to "mono in 1"?
Hi I'm new to music production, why does he use Edison? Can someone explain that step in a little bit more detail for me please?
How about a guitar with distortion? Let's say for some heavy rock music, Do you record clean and add the effect after or can it be done directly with distortion?
can be done with a Virtual amp VST, if you have a audio interface
Pro tip, you can right click and scroll to switch between tools. Makes it so much easier.
That’s pretty swag, I’m gonna try that
So you need an audio interface(box looking thingy) for electric guitar, but for an acoustic, you just need a mic that is plugged into your PC? Excluding if you have an acoustic-electric.
Yep just plug your mic into the computer and record for acoustic
Wouldn’t it be easier to record to the metronome rather than trying to find the tempo after it’s been recorded?
Do whatever works for you brother
the intro was great
how do you make that smooth transition at the beginning of each strum?
Thanks bro

can you use guitar to play through a generator for instance fl keys? or do you need a midi of some kind?
need a plugin which ujam does, and also loopmidi installed
Do you know what some of the best effects are for electric guitars in Guitar Rig 5 for trap beats? Thanks.
All depends on your personal preference and what kind of sound you want. I usually go for the presets that have minimal distortion
subscribed after seeing the intro
Thank you bro :)
Shit I thought you had to have an electric acoustic to do this. Thanks 🙏
No prob bro 🖤

Yea if he exports it into wav or mp3 and then sends it to you, you can put it into FL

Will this work with pedals?
I’m not totally sure because I’ve never used pedals before, but if you’re able to connect everything thru the interface, it should probably work
