Just a note: please do NOT wear chest binder when u sleep, if it feels uncountable or u have troubles w breathing take it off cuz it can make serious damage in ur chest area N *don't* wear too small binder I also don't recommend wearing it when u r swimming cuz it can cause breathing troubles n even be dangerous but I personally do wear binder if I'm rarely going to swim cuz I don't swim in the ocean/lake I have a pool so it's okay then n if u wear it when swimming please have a person around u just to be safe

This was the best transgender story that I've ever read. It had the gender dysphoria at the beginning, the average life with average friends and great siblings. On the topic of siblings, I like how you added in little storylines for them as well. The story had depth and humor, as well as maturity and reason in grasping such a topic like being transgender. It wasn't unrealistic with barbie bullies and whatnot. It showed the true struggle, and that not everyone would except it, but that was okay because there will always be those who love you for yourself. There was so much gradual character development and emotion that was beautifully shown, and I loved every part of this. This story makes for a great inspiration, while also being something that is fun and interesting to watch. Fantastic work! :)
i really liked how u showed that even with gender dysphoria, a person can still be happy at times. many people think that someone whos trans is sad all the time, like we can't ever be happy at times. yes, we're uncomfortable with our asigned gender, yes, it can cause depression, but it doesn't mean there aren't times where those thoughts are pushed in the back of our head. this was some really good representation of the trans community ^-^

i just want to say how happy for this story i am. being a closeted trans guy, i can really relate to this. the way you did this story was really realistic and not in your face. i could really understand dereks emotions, like feeling dysphoria and feeling less and less true to myself when i get older. at the scene where he was coming out, i actually started crying. i felt so happy for him and i didn’t even realise i was crying lol. the part where jess didn’t really accept him made me realise how i don’t want toxic people in my life either and nearly made me come out, but then i realised i go to a public school in england sooooo- but yeah, thank you for raising awareness to this. 🥺

Itzgacha Gurl I know this is a little late but my most notable memory was when I was 11. I was addicted to Harry Potter, still am, and one of my friends started to role play as a male character even though they were a girl. They might be transgender or non binary but I haven’t talked to them in a while, would like to though. My first thought was pretty much, wait, you can do that? I want to do that! I never did though because I was too nervous my friends wouldn’t like me. After that moment I started researching stuff like that related to it, like can boys wear dresses and other things and I found out that you could be transgender. Also the same year My class had a 3 month period talking about PUBERTY! I’m pretty sure I was more horrified than everyone there, as in I stuck my face in my desk every time we watched a video. Towards the end of it, the teacher casually talked about people who were LGBTQ+ but they didn’t mention anything about being transgender. I’m pretty dysphoric right now, and just to clarify I am MTF and Pansexual. Also my dad just made my cut my nails because he said it looks ridiculous. So my life sucks but at least I know there are other people like me that I can relate to. Thanks for asking and sorry it’s pretty long, might make a video on my channel for it later, but I’m not comfortable with my voice at the moment.

Tbh I wish I could transition..... I wish I had a chest binder , I wish people would use the right pronouns use the right name..... I understand why he was scared and nervous to tell his family.... I told my family more than once.. but it didn't really change anything..... I have to do everything on my own.... It hurts feeling like my family won't even help me.... The least I could do was give me a binder or take me for Counseling but nope they do nothing and yet they even say that they're supportive but what makes me think they're not is than continuing to use female pronouns and use my female name...it honestly hurts
