How to Create Spline From Points Cloud | CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE TUTORIAL | DESIGN AUTOMATION

Continuation of my previous video, we already imported points cloud into CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE, now we can create a simple closed wireframe profile using the points
So, basically the overall process involves :
1. Setting up the external points data in .csv file
2. Import points data into CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE
3. Create spline
4. Connect endpoints by a line
5. Join the spline and line into a single closed wireframe profile

Hello, I tried this on a 100 points profile, and it seems like the spline by-passes a lot of points, even if I select them one by one, resulting in a too low segment number. Is it a resolution problem or something similar? I can't figure It out

Hi Riccardo, just trying to diagnose this from a distance 😊 Have you tried changing your resolution settings in the Options > Display > Performance (tab) > 3D Accuracy & 2D Accuracy menu? Try using fixed value of 0.01 for both and see if there is any improvement.

@@Shahadatuliskandar just found out that the file from which I imported the points has been read in mm while it was in m, that was a rookie mistake of mine. Anyway, thank you for the help👊🏻
