What an amazing piece of footage! I was also a Hayman kid at this time and i'm sure my sister is in that footage (behind the tractor). Dad was the Foreman there from late 60's to mid 80's - Max McKenzie, and mum, Dawn worked mostly in the Island Shop but early days in the Reef Room and the BRI Office. I'm the youngest of 5 and first went to the island in the helicopter as a five day old baby in 1974 and left 11 years later. I remember all of the people you have mentioned - this has made my day
@mrsnoodlemac How nice, I hope she is well, Your Mum is a beautiful lady with a beautiful nature. My wife Carol and I worked on the Island 1970 to 1976 and have fond memories of her

Thankyou for posting this! I was a baby on the island when this was made. Any of the people in there could have been my mum or dad!
Brilliant stuff. I grew up/lived on Hayman as a child in the 1970s. Really sentimental. Thanks for sharing.
